Blaney's victory at Martinsville was his third victory of the 2024 Cup Series campaign. The team Penske driver, along with HMS' William Byron, filled the two remaining spots in the final 4.

Blaney, who has secured a top-five finish in his last three appearances at Phoenix Raceway, responded to the question and said at the post-race press conference:
"I definitely believe in momentum. I believe in confidence and stuff like that. I think this is the same at last year, right? You carry it into next week. This team is really prepared to do it. Hopefully we can carry that momentum that we had last year winning this race on to next week, as well."
