NASCAR veteran Mark Martin's former team Roush Racing (now Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing) shared a one-word reaction to his recent comment on a consistent specification about his #6 Ford throughout his 19-year career with the team.

Martin’s illustrious 31-year NASCAR career solidified his place as one of the sport’s all-time greats. Renowned for his exceptional skill and consistency, he secured 96 wins across NASCAR’s top three divisions, including 40 in the Cup Series. Though a championship eluded him, with five runner-up finishes, his legacy remains legendary.

Recently, Mark Martin shared that he used a 'ball chiller hose', a piece of equipment used to ventilate the racing suit, which helps tackle the high temperatures inside the race cars. He wrote on X:

"That’s the hose I ran from the A post to my balls. It attached to the seat between my legs. I ran this every race until I retired."

His former team, RFK Racing, gave a one-word verdict on the NASCAR Hall of Famer's comment.

"Confirmed," RFK Racing wrote on X.

In the comments of its post, the NASCAR team further shared that three of his six racecars in the Roush Automotive Collection still have this hose in them.

Mark Martin retired from racing following the 2013 Cup Series season. Unlike his then competitors such as seven-time Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson and two-time Xfinity Series champion Dale Earnhardt Jr., who have occasionally returned as part-time competitors, the 65-year-old has fully embraced retirement, choosing to step away from the track while leaving behind a legacy as one of NASCAR's most elite drivers.

Former Cup Series champion Brad Keselowski, who co-owns RFK Racing, now competes in Martin's iconic #6 Ford. Keselowski secured his spot in the 2024 playoffs, however, his journey in the postseason did not go beyond the round of 16.

"He makes cold decisions" - Mark Martin's former crew chief shed light on Jack Roush's outburst in 1991 at Atlanta

Mark Martin's former crew chief, Robin Pemberton, recently recounted a memorable incident at Atlanta Motor Speedway in 1991.

Pemberton revealed on The Scene Vault Podcast that his younger brother accidentally left a wedge wrench in Mark Martin's #6 Ford, enraging team owner Jack Roush. Following a heated outburst in the pits, Roush fired Pemberton's brother—a decision Pemberton later stated he understood and respected.

"Jack was Jack, right? He makes cold decisions based on that's how he runs things, right? And I respect that [...] He fired me three times in five years. The second or third time he fired me, we laughed about it." [3:30]
"It was about something and I said 'Look, you're here all day,' I said, 'You got all day to think about it but I'm not leaving, you're not going to fire me and I'm not going to leave. I don't own this thing but it's as much mine as it is yours. So I'm going out here and go to work. Let me know what you think at the end of the day,'" Pemberton added.
