Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s wife Madyson Joye recently shared a hilarious exchange with her sister, who thought that one of her poodles had been devoured by a coyote. Moments later, she took to her Instagram stories and revealed the newly cleaned living room she had prepared for her new best friend.

Madyson worked for Richard Childress Racing from 2018 to 2021 before joining Marty Snider & Associates as a Director of Partnerships. Madyson currently works as a manager of communications for the Drivers Advisory Council and runs a 300-acre ranch in North Carolina, called Slide Job Ranch, alongside her husband.

Madyson, who turned 29 this year, loves animals, regardless if it is a dog or a cow. She got the barn prepared for her “new bestie” which could be a cow. Sharing a photo of the same, Madyson wrote,

“Cleaned and ready for my new bestie 😍”

As per The People, over 200 people joined the festivities, including Stenhouse Jr.’s groomsmen, one of which was the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion, Kyle Larson. Other NASCAR drivers who showed up were Denny Hamlin, Todd Gilliland, Harrison Burton, Riley Herbst, Myatt Snider, and Zane Smith.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. eyes 2023 return with rebranded team

Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s NASCAR Cup Series team, JTG Daugherty Racing, got rebranded as Hyak Motorsports for the upcoming season. The news came shortly after Kroger announced their departure from the Chevy team and entered a new partnership with RFK Racing.

“Obviously, we have a big shift in the organization,” Stenhouse Jr. said of the change (via motorcyclyesports.net). “You can look at it a couple different ways, but we’re seeing it as an opportunity. Everything’s a little more consolidated, and we’ve kept the same great employees, the same crew guys, and our processes will stay the same."

The goal for Hyak Motorsports in 2025 is to regain its 2023 momentum. That year, Stenhouse Jr. won the 65th running of the crown jewel Daytona 500. He also amassed seven top-10s and a pair of top-5s. Speaking of which, the 37-year-old driver said,

“All our eyes at HYAK Motorsports are definitely looking forward and trying to get our performance back to the level we reached in 2023. Starting with a win at the Daytona 500 was huge, but we also averaged a 14th-place finish throughout most of the regular season. That’s something we want to get back to and improve upon.”

Stenhouse Jr.’s first race as a Hyak Motorsports driver is at Bowman Gray Stadium on February 2. The season-opening non-points race will stream on FOX from 8 pm ET onwards. Fans can also listen to live radio updates on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
