Former NASCAR driver Kenny Wallace uploaded a video on his YouTube channel on January 6, 2025, as he reflected on a funny story of how his brother Rusty Wallace got stuck in the ice leading to a sequence of hilarious events. The title of the video reads, “That Time My Brother Rusty Wallace: Flipped His Car in The Snow!”

Kenny Wallace (who is worth $9M as per Celebrity Net Worth) started the video on his couch with a cup of coffee and was watching the local news channel. The channel was showing videos of the snow-laden street with vehicles stuck on it. As Wallace looked at the new channel, he recalled the story of how Rusty and his wife Patty got stuck in ice.

Kenny Wallace recalled:

“Never forget this story. This one's wild. So brother Rusty and Patty, his wife.” He continued, “So Rusty tells me this story. So we got Old Lemay Ferry Road, and you got this big hill. Rusty, he comes down the hill, and of course, he's a race car driver. So that means he's special, you know, because race car drivers are better than everybody, and everybody is in their way (laughs). So Rusty comes down the hill, and he goes to make a right and can't make the right because it's ice.” [4:10 onwards]

“It starts sliding, sliding down into big a**, I mean, we're talking about a 30 foot hole, it's a creek, and stuck in there and flips over. Rusty panics. Rusty panics, gets out, gets to the top, and then goes, ' Oh s***, Patty's still down there.' (laughs) He's shocked. It's unbelievable. He gets out, gets to the top, realizes Patty. So he goes back down, gets his wife,” he added.

Kenny Wallace has uploaded multiple short-form videos on his YouTube channel where he talks about such stories and all things NASCAR. He has uploaded over 2000 videos on his YouTube channel and has 119,000 followers.

Kenny Wallace slammed reporter for comments on brother Mike’s Daytona 500 entry

Kenny Wallace's elder brother Mike Wallace announced that he will be racing in the 2025 Daytona 500 with MBM Motorsports driving the #66 car. Mike last raced in a Cup series event in 2015 at the Daytona 500 where he finished P36. His last NASCAR race was with JD Motorsports in the Xfinity series in 2020. Reporter Nick Bromberg tweeted about Mike’s return and it read:

“I'm sure this will be controversial, but a 65-year-old who hasn't competed in a Cup Series race or a top-3 series NASCAR race on an oval since 2015 and last raced in a top-3 series NASCAR race overall in 2020 probably shouldn't get automatic approval to attempt the Daytona 500”

Wallace came out to slam the reporter and defend his brother as he replied to the tweet with:

“Would not expect anything less out of you, Nick. You’ve always been a negative reporter.”
