With the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season over, most drivers have already kicked off their off-season. In a recent video compiled by 'NASCAR on NBC' on Instagram, Ryan Blaney, Alex Bowman and a few others spoke about their most used emoji.

Since the start of the 2024 season, the then-defending Cup Series champion Blaney struggled to deliver consistent performance. The #12 Team Penske racer finished five of the first 10 races out of the Top 10s. It took Blaney 20 race starts in the season to enter the victory lane at Iowa Speedway (Iowa Corn 350). Despite the odds, Blaney emerged as the top contender for the title this year during the Playoffs Round of 8, winning the Xfinity 500 race at Martinsville Speedway.

However, the Ohio-born racer eventually lost the title battle to his teammate Joey Logano during the penultimate lap, despite the former pushing hard to gain several places in the last stage of the Championship 4 race at Phoenix. Although disappointed, Blaney will likely be looking forward to his wedding with fiancé Gianna Tulio on December 12.

While the season has ended, NASCAR on NBC, an official account of US-based broadcaster NBC dedicated to NASCAR-related content, shared a video of NASCAR drivers such as Blaney, Bowman, Logano and a few others sharing their go-to emojis on Instagram.

"Probably the thumbs up...Just one. Don't overuse emojis," Blaney claimed.
"Crying laughing face," Bowman shared.
"Old dude smiling and crying, laughing so hard," Logano commented.

"We asked the NASCAR drivers: what’s your go-to emoji? 👀"

With nine full-time Cup Series seasons so far, Blaney is slowly emerging as one of the successful racers, with 13 wins and 146 Top-10 finishes to his name.

"Kind of just a big chili cheese guy" - Team Penske's Ryan Blaney on his favorite hot dog toppings

As a son of the former NASCAR driver Dave Blaney, the 2023 Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney has been a part of the NASCAR community since childhood.

Ahead of the Championship 4 race, the #12 Team Penske racer spoke about how hot dogs have been an integral part of his childhood and the topping he likes in an interview with WXLV-TV.

"I used to eat a lot of the hot dogs as a kid when I was watching my dad race. Now that I'm racing myself on Sundays, I try to stay away from the hot dogs just because I don't want to have any belly aches or any, if I eat too many. I'm kind of just a big chili cheese guy. Like I'm not, I don't like onions or mustard or ketchup or anything like that," Blaney said (3:05 onward).
"So yeah, a little chilli, a little cheese. I think that's messy though. You get into the chili, it gets messy, but I'm not ashamed to say I'll just scarf down a plain hot dog. I don't really mind it, but yeah, if there's good chili and cheese available, I'll throw that on there," he added.

As for the 2024 season, Blaney finished second in the Drivers' championship, behind his teammate and three-time Cup Series champion Joey Logano.
