Ryan Blaney's wife Gianna Blaney shared a glimpse from her trip to Aspen during the Annual Wintersköl. The event has taken place every year since 1951, celebrating winter to embrace the weather and the community spirit, 'Wintersköl' embodies the town's slogan, "Toast to Winter."
Gianna Blaney attended the annual festival and shared a series of snapshots on her social media, showcasing interesting activities that took place at the event. Her chic attire topped off with an off-white Panama hat, seemed to camouflage with the snow.
"Aspens annual Wintersköl ❄️," she shared her pictures on Instagram.
The winter fest, held in Aspen, Colorado, features multiple events such as torchlit fire parades, snow sculpture competitions, fat bike races (modified bikes), and other winter sports activities, along with traditional dance and music, that bring the community together.
This was seemingly quite a time for newlywed Gianna Blaney. She married Ryan Blaney earlier this month. The two met back in 2018 in Las Vegas, when she had a modeling job with the Hooters. They publicized their relationship in 2020, and Blaney then proposed to her in December of 2023, shortly after winning his first NASCAR Cup Series Championship. They then got married exactly a year later on the same date.
Gianna talks about her similarities and differences with Ryan Blaney
In an interview with People Magazine, Gianna Tulio (now Blaney, as her Instagram account mentions) discussed the affectionate time she spends with her husband Ryan Blaney.
Tulio mentioned that she loves to spend her comfortable mornings with him, as the two sip on their coffees. She further mentioned that she loves the similarities they have, but at the same time, they embrace their differences.
"Ryan really helps calm my nerves. I'm most relaxed in the morning, sipping my coffee with him, so we decided to read our vows privately to one another [...] The thing we love most about each other is all the things we have in common. Then, the things we don't have in common, we find joy in those differences and embrace our differences."
Their wedding was also held in Aspen. She stated that it was something that she'd always wanted.
"It was everything I have ever dreamt of as a little girl for a wedding … the most magical night of my life," Gianna added.
Meanwhile, not a lot is changing for Ryan Blaney. He will be heading into the 2025 season of the NASCAR Cup Series championship, continuing to drive the #12 Team Penske Ford.
After claiming his first championship in the 2023 season, Blaney kept the same momentum in the 2024 season. During the final race at Phoenix, he was in a tight battle with Joey Logano. He had a close call to win his second title; however, it went to his teammate in the #22 as Logano claimed his third championship.
