NASCAR driver Ryan Blaney's wife, Gianna Tulio Blaney recently sent her respect to people in Los Angeles after wildfires started to ravage parts of the most populated city in California. The fires, which started this Tuesday, have reportedly claimed at least five deaths and forced over 130,000 people to evacuate.
Gianna, who had been dating Blaney for many years, tied the knot on December 12 last year in Colorado, after an engagement in 2023. She shared a post about the devastating fires, which have covered over 40 square miles, in her latest Instagram story.
"Sending all my love and prayers to those in LA," Gianna wrote.
More than five live blazes, including the Palisades Fire and the Eaton Fire fueled by extreme Santa Ana winds, are still affecting the people of LA. Gianna also shared a post by the LA Times about donating money, supplies and time to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation or local groups.
"State, regional and local grassroots organizations are collecting funds and recruiting volunteers to help those displaced or affected. There is also a call for supporting the Los Angeles Fire Department by donating to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation. The foundation is seeking monetary donations to equip firefighters battling the wildfires with items including emergency fire shelters, hydration backpacks and wildland brush tools. You can donate to the cause online," the post read.
"We're just going to have fun with it" - Ryan Blaney on one wedding rule with Gianna
Ryan Blaney and Gianna had a winter wedding in Aspen, Colorado on December 12, 2024. During a recent episode of the "Dale Jr. Download" podcast, the 31-year-old talked about having fun and staying open-minded. He also shared the one rule the couple had for their wedding.
"We just, the only rule we had was we're just going to have fun with it all. And, like, if there's an issue, we're not going to get upset with it. Just tell the planner, and we're just gonna still have our fun times. So, I didn't really know what to expect. I try to, we try to go into things with open minds, especially when it's our first time doing things. So, yeah, it all went smooth... We had an absolute blast," Blaney said (52:45 onwards).
Blaney also revealed that one of the most rewarding parts of their wedding was to see Gianna walk down the aisle.
Team Penske's No. 12 driver, Blaney ended the last Cup Series season in second place with three wins, finishing just 0.330 seconds behind Logano at the Championship 4 race.
