Meanwhile, Kyle Busch experienced a disappointing 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season, failing to secure even a single victory in 36 races. The two-time champion subsequently missed the playoffs, marking a challenging year for the veteran driver and Richard Childress Racing's #8 team.
During the off-season, Busch explored midget dirt track racing, a discipline where his young son Brexton has already made notable strides. While Kyle navigated dirt tracks, Brexton embarked on a new milestone, making his debut in karting.
Samantha Busch shares her pride in son Brexton after challenging karting debut
Earlier this week, Samantha Busch shared that her son, Brexton, was initially feeling down after his debut in karting, where he finished last at the event held at Trackhouse Motorplex in Mooresville, North Carolina.
However, the very next day, she noticed a positive shift in his mindset. Samantha expressed how proud she was of Brexton, sharing an update on her Instagram Story about the growth in his attitude and resilience.
"What I'm most proud of he woke up this morning and said Mom can I watch some film and can we get out on the track with someone with experience so I can follow and learn. I knew he felt discouraged the other day, happy to see it pushing him to work hard," she wrote on her Instagram story.
Brexton, who is a third-generation racer will wrap up the 2024 racing season after competing in the 39th edition of the esteemed micro sprint racing event, the Tulsa shootout. His father Kyle will also be competing in the event, which is scheduled right before New Year's Eve, on 30th December.
