Samantha Busch, Kyle Busch's wife, has made her feelings known about her son Brexton's superb performance in the Tulsa Shootout. She reposted Brexton's post about securing the pole position and added a 'flex' emoji on social media.
Both Kyle and Brexton Busch are participating in the Tulsa Shootout in Oklahoma. Brexton is competing in two classes, including the Jr. Sprint A-Main where he will start at the front of the field in the No. 18b micro sprint car.
Per Instagram, Samantha Busch hyped up her son after earning the pole position for the race.
"Pole for jr sprints 💪," Samantha wrote.
Brexton, meanwhile, shared his thoughts on a strong qualifying performance, saying:
"🔒ON THE POLE🔒 [...] After going 4th to 1st in my qualifer, I locked myself onto the pole of the Jr Sprint A-Main on Saturday evening.🤘🏻"
The Jr. Sprint A race will happen on Saturday evening. Brexton is competing against young micro sprint racers including Owen Larson, son of Kyle Larson.
As for Kyle Busch, the 39-year-old Las Vegas native has entered four classes in the indoor micro sprint racing event. He is up against fellow NASCAR drivers Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell.
After the Tulsa Shootout, the NASCAR drivers will race against each other in the 2025 Chili Bowl Nationals from January 13 to January 18. The race will witness Busch's debut in the so-called Super Bowl of Midget Racing.
Kyle Busch and the rest of the NASCAR drivers will return to the national stock car racing league in February for the Daytona race weekend.
Samantha Busch promotes new track-inspired apparel ahead of Tulsa Shootout
While Kyle and Brexton Busch are busy running in the Tulsa Shootout, Samantha is promoting her new track-inspired apparel under her new collection 'race mom and kiddo' gear.
The new items in the collection include Race Mom Era t-shirts, Future Driver t-shirts, "A Little Dirt Never Hurt" t-shirts, Race Wife sweatshirts, Track Mom hats, and sippers available in various colors.
In an Instagram post, Samantha wrote:
"Stop by our trailer for some race mom and kiddo gear!"
Busch previously revealed that she would continue hosting pop-up stores at select NASCAR race tracks as part of her plans in 2025. The store allows her to meet and interact with fans while they shop for race-inspired merch.
"I just love you guys. I'm so excited. So just you know, they're probably getting mad at me for already sharing this, but our plan is to continue doing pop-ups again next year at the racetracks, and I just appreciate you guys coming out, chit-chatting," Busch said.
She added:
"It's so much fun, so we're already working on new exclusive designs for next year, setting the pop-up schedule ahead of time, and I'm just pumped. So, thank you. Thank you. Thank you."
As of this writing, Samantha hasn't posted the schedule for the pop-up stores for the 2025 season. Last year, her merchandise shop made appearances at over 10 racetracks, including the Daytona International Raceway during the season-opener.
