Samantha Busch, Kyle Busch's wife, has opened up about a deal she had with her husband about the driver's new sport. She said she would only approve of her husband's hunting if they would eat the wild animals he would kill.
Kyle Busch is a veteran NASCAR racer who drives for Richard Childress Racing. He got married to Samantha during his early Cup Series career in 2010 and the couple have two children, Brexton and Lennix.
The 39-year-old's wife shared her charcuterie board with meat from her husband's hunting trip alongside food she bought from the market.
"When Kyle started hunting this year, I told him I was only ok with it if we actually ate what he was hunting. Excited that half my charcuterie board is made up of it and this morning, we had fresh [gemsbok] sausage, local eggs, and farmers market sourdough bread," she wrote.
Earlier this year, Kyle Busch was seen on a hunting trip with Kevin Harvick and the latter's daughter. They went to hunt turkeys with Realtree, a camouflage designer who sponsored some of the two drivers' races.
"#TeamRealtree plans on taking down a turkey or two 🦃," Busch wrote.
Kevin Harvick also recently went elk hunting with his son Keelan, which he described as a success.
Besides hunting, Kyle Busch is also trying to race midget cars for the first time. He will run with his son Brexton at Tulsa Shootout next week before making his Chili Bowl debut in January.
Upon the resumption of the 2024 NASCAR season, the Las Vegas native will return to the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro for RCR.
