Cup Series champion Kyle Busch and his wife, Samantha recently enjoyed a family vacation in Italy. Married for nearly 14 years, the couple dated for two years before tying the knot on December 31, 2010.
The two welcomed their first child, son Brexton Locke in 2015 and daughter, Lennix Key in 2022.
NASCAR’s two-week hiatus, prompted by the commencement of the Paris Olympics, provided drivers with a much-needed break to recharge for the remainder of the season. Kyle, who's on a bumpy ride in 2024, has taken this break to lay off some steam and spend some time with his family. Besides visiting Italy's historical landmarks like the Colosseum in Rome, Samantha's love for Italian cuisine led to the pair going out for multiple meals on their vacation.
Earlier today, Samantha shared a picture playfully poking at an extravagant drink that her husband had ordered, on her Instagram story.
"They brought Kyle a Bloody Mary with a whole caprese salad in it lol," she said.
Kyle Busch is facing the most challenging phase of his Cup Series career. The #8 car driver for Richard Childress Racing has faced several mechanical issues and has been the victim of multiple on-track incidents, leaving him with six DNFs thus far. He is the most decorated driver on the grid, having never missed the playoffs, but his chances seem bleak to make the cut this season.
Currently at P18 on the driver standings, Busch finds himself 112 points shy of the final playoff spot. As NASCAR returns to Richmond Raceway this Sunday, he will be aiming for a strong performance.
Kyle Busch wished Olympian Noah Lyles just a few hours before he secured a gold medal in Paris
Ahead of the 100m Sprint event at the Paris Olympics, Kyle Busch extended his support to Team USA's track and field athlete, Noah Lyles via a video by NASCAR.
"Hey, I'm Kyle Busch, NASCAR driver. From one guy who knows speed to another, I'm wishing Noah Lyles from Men's Track and Field the best of luck. Go get em' over there in Paris," Busch said.
Just a few hours later, Lyles grabbed the gold medal in the 100m sprint, defeating Jamaica's Kishane Thompson by a razor-thin margin.
Busch, who had wished Lyles a few hours earlier, posted a picture on X (formerly Twitter) congratulating him on securing his first Olympic gold. The post was captioned:
"Seems this aged well!! Great race @LylesNoah"
Lyles clocked an impressive 9.784 seconds in his latest race, narrowly edging out his Jamaican competitor by just five thousandths of a second. Building on this success, he is set to compete in the 200m sprint on August 9th.
