NASCAR driver Kyle Busch recently made his midget racing debut in the United States Auto Club (USAC) event at Bakersfield Speedway. Following his debut, Busch's wife, Samantha, shared a brief note on the father-son midget racing duo.

Samantha and Kyle Busch celebrated nearly 14 years of marriage, having tied the knot on December 31, 2010, at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago after two years of dating. Their family grew with the birth of their son, Brexton Locke Busch, five years into their marriage in 2015.

In 2022, they welcomed their daughter, Lennix Key Busch, completing their family. Samantha often shares insights into their personal life, balancing family with Kyle's demanding NASCAR career.

Recently, the Las Vegas, Nevada, native tried his hand at midget racing at Bakersfield Speedway. Following the end of the race, the Busch family grabbed a meal where Samantha Busch captured a picture of her husband and son. Sharing the picture on her Instagram story, she wrote:

Kyle Busch was accompanied by Hendrick Motorsports driver Kyle Larson for the USAC midget event. Busch led the first two laps of the second heat. However, in the third lap, the former NASCAR champion lost power in his #51 Lucas Oil/Flo Racing midget, eventually failing his advance to the feature event.

Meanwhile, Busch is set to race in the USAC event at Ventura Speedway, and will also compete in the 39th Chili Bowl Midget Nationals Powered by NOS Energy Drink with his son Brexton Lee Busch.

Two-time Cup Series champion Kyle Busch, drives the #8 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing. In his NASCAR career, Busch has amassed an extraordinary 231 career wins across NASCAR’s top three divisions, a record unmatched in the sport's history.

His 63 Cup Series victories place him ninth on the all-time wins list. Additionally, Busch holds record-setting win totals in the Xfinity and Truck Series and is an Xfinity Series champion.

A brief overview of Kyle Busch's underwhelming Cup Series campaign in 2024

Kyle Busch is the winningest driver in the current Cup Series lineup. However, his 2024 campaign in RCR's #8 Chevrolet has been a season to forget. Despite not making it to the playoffs for the first time in 11 years, the three-time NASCAR champ failed to take a trip down victory lane throughout the 36-race campaign.

In the 2024 Cup Series season, Kyle Busch found himself on the wrong end of the stick multiple times. Whether it was on-track incidents or mechanical failures, Busch happened to find himself in the limelight of these unfortunate events.

He nearly secured a win in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona, however, Xfinity driver Parker Retzlaff pushed Harrison Burton ahead of Busch in the final lap, as the former WBR driver secured a historic win in his and his team's NASCAR careers.

As the season ended, RCR's #8 driver finished in P20 on the leaderboard. In 36 races, he secured 10 top-ten and five top-five finishes. However, to his misfortune, he also secured 5 DNFs this season and had an average finish of 18.306.
