Trackhouse Racing has collaborated with TF Sport to compete in the upcoming 62nd annual Rolex 24 at Daytona race in the GTD class. NASCAR stars Shane van Gisbergen and Connor Zilisch will compete alongside IndyCar superstar Scott McLaughlin and World Endurance Racing series driver Ben Keating in the iconic racing event.
Titled 'Trackhouse by TF Sport,' the teams will be pushing the #91 Corvette Z06 GT3.R race car on the grid for the 24-hour race. The race, which happens to be the first round of the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship is scheduled to be flagged off on January 25th, 2025.
After establishing a presence in NASCAR and MotoGP, Trackhouse Racing is now expanding into the world of endurance racing along with TF Sport. The latter has already competed in the legendary race twice.
As a result, the teams have announced a group of highly skilled racers in the form of Gisbergen, Zilisch, McLaughlin and Keating.
"This is a dream come true to get to drive alongside Scotty, Connor and Ben. I love the 24 Hours of Daytona and it’s awesome to do this with this team. Justin, Chevrolet and TF Sport have done a great job putting this all together," the three-time Australian Supercars champion said during the media announcement.
"When the opportunity came up from General Motors to run with Ben, Connor and Shane, I jumped at it straight away. I’ve always wanted to run an endurance race in a Chevrolet Corvette, and I could not imagine a better group to join. I am confident we have a real chance of winning a Rolex with this team. Shane and I have so much history racing against each other, including some time as teammates. He is one of the best racers I’ve ever competed against, so it’ll be great to be on his side again for Daytona," IndyCar racer McLaughlin commented.

"I went the Touring Car route, and he went to chase the dream in Europe in single-seaters" - Shane van Gisbergen shared his opinion on Liam Lawson's future in Formula 1
Three-time Supercars champion and NASCAR star Shane van Gisbergen is proud of his compatriot Liam Lawson's progress in Formula 1. The New Zealand-born racer shared his opinion on his fellow countryman's future in the pinnacle of open-wheel racing.
He said (via Msn.com):
"Obviously, I went the Touring Car route, and he went to chase the dream in Europe in single-seaters. Now he's succeeded at it. The way he's gotten to F1 has been a little difficult the last couple of years. But seeing him get this opportunity full-time now, I'm just stoked and so proud."
"Liam was very analytical, trying to understand the car and what he needed to do to be fast. You don't make it to F1 by being an average driver. To watch how he and Yuki (Tsunoda) could just jump in a car and drive — it was amazing," Gisbergen added.
As for Gisbergen's 2024 season, he finished 12th in the Drivers' championship in the Xfinity Series with three wins, 10 Top 10s and seven Top 5 finishes in 33 races.
