Corey Heim might land a spot in the Cup Series in 2025 - Reports
Recent reports from Bob Pockrass suggest that Eric Jones might not drive with Legacy Motor Club next season, since there is currently no contract in place. While the team would likely prefer to keep Jones, his return remains uncertain. In case he vacates the #43 car, Corey Heim could be considered as a potential replacement.
Heim serves as the reserve driver for 23XI Racing and Legacy Motor Club in the NASCAR Cup Series. Additionally, he competes full-time for TRICON Garage in the Truck Series and part-time in the Xfinity Series for Sam Hunt Racing.
Furthermore, 23XI Racing could also have plans for Heim if Denny Hamlin decides to expand his team. When Pockrass inquired with Hamlin, the #11 Joe Gibbs Racing driver shared:
"I talked to Corey [Heim] a little bit about that understanding that his future doesn't rely on a week-to-week basis. He's young enough and establishing up and he's winning enough on Friday and Saturday to know that he's capable of doing it, right?"
Currently, Heim is performing well in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series standings at P2, with 4 wins, nine top-5s, and eleven top-10s.
