Fans went gaga over Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s recent post on X, which showed him sitting next to and gaping at a gigantic can of Budweiser. The legacy of Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s No. 8 Budweiser Chevy is not unknown to the racing aficionados.
Dale Jr. made 291 starts and amassed 17 victories with the car. However, the last time fans saw the veteran racer pilot, the iconic ride was in 2007. The following year, he moved to Hendrick Motorsports and won nine more races throughout the remainder of his full-time career.
Interestingly, Dale Jr. seems to be cooking something up alongside his longtime sponsor Budweiser, and the No. 8 trademark which he acquired not long ago.
Recently, the NASCAR Hall of Famer changed his profile photo on X (formerly Twitter) to a snap of himself celebrating his victory in the 2004 Daytona 500 with the No. 8 Budweiser Chevy.
To spice things up even more, the 50-year-old NASCAR legend posted this on Monday:
Several fans reacted to Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s post with one saying:

Dale Earnhardt Jr. shed light on his current settlement with Budweiser
Dale Earnhardt Jr. loves his beer. Needless to say, Budweiser is his favorite brand and their officials too share a bond with Dale Jr. So much so that the guys at Budweiser show up at his Mooresville home once in a while and drop off a few cases of Budweiser Select 55.
"I’ve worked for Budweiser for almost 10 years," Dale Earnhardt Jr. said in an episode of his Dale Jr. Download podcast. "When you have that kind of relationship with Budweiser, they put me on this deal where I still get beer."
"The beer truck comes by every so often, once a month or whatever, and drops off a few cases. When I became a dad and I got a little bit older, I still love to drink beer. But I didn’t always want to be intoxicated, not all the time," he added.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. owns a race team, a late-model racing series, a Vodka brand, and several other businesses. Therefore, he has to work all day long. But when he doesn't, a can of chilled beer is what keeps him company. Dale Jr. doesn't like people telling him when to drink and when not to drink.
"I’ll get up in the morning when I’m on vacation, I’ll have a beer at 10:00 in the morning," Dale Earnhardt Jr. continued. "Ain’t nobody gonna tell me what time I can drink. I’ll drink what I want. I’m going to drink some days during the summer or whenever, I’m going to drink all day."
While Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Budweiser tease the fans, NASCAR prepares for next week's races at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The Xfinity Series and Truck Series races are scheduled for Saturday, October 26, followed by the Cup Series race the next day.
