Former NASCAR and IndyCar driver Danica Patrick recently shared a heartfelt message from an American citizen, who expressed concern regarding the substantial aid received by illegal immigrants.
Patrick shared a video posted by David Harris Jr., an entrepreneur, author, and podcast host, featuring a grocery store cashier detailing the receipts of immigrants. In the video, the cashier claimed that the immigrants had $13,000 in EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) food expenses and an additional $29,000 in EBT cash.
"I can tell you personally that when I worked at the grocery store and I cashed them out. The receipts were alarming, $13,000 on EBT food, not including the $29,000 that was on EBT cash... It's infuriating and they're dressed very well... when we the American people are scrapping for the next set of work boots. That's a problem, that's a serious problem," the interviewee said.
Danica Patrick expressed her surprise at the benefits received by immigrants and sympathized with hard-working Americans struggling to pay their bills. In a recent Instagram story posted on September 25, she wrote in the caption accompanying the video:
"Wow. So sad for those who are working their asses off to pay bills."

Patrick recently took the stage at Presidential candidate Donald Trump's "Reclaim America Tour" in Las Vegas, Nevada. While addressing the crowd, she defended her political beliefs, expressing pride in being an American and her commitment to making the country great again.
Danica Patrick reflects on attending Reclaim America Tour
Danica Patrick attended Turning Point USA's annual Amfest convention in Phoenix, Arizona, in December last year with her sister. Several months later, she recently took to the stage at the Reclaim America Tour with Robert F Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard.
Patrick reflected on her journey from attending Amfest last year to witnessing the "Avengers-style" team assemble over the months in support of Trump. She wrote in an Instagram post:
"My my…. look how far I have come since attending Amfest in December with my sister. Watching this Avengers style team of Trump supporters assemble over the last year has been amazing. And even more amazing is what kind of country they could build. So much diverse talent with such passion and knowledge."
"The most interesting point made the other night was that Donald was not able to create his transition team when elected in 2016 until Nov 5 because that’s when the budget was made available. He felt he was behind from the start and then didn’t have the right people in place to fully execute his vision. This time he is starting 3 months early. With a lot more experience than last time. Let’s go" she added.
Meanwhile, the former IndyCar/NASCAR star recently made on-track appearances at the Indy 500 and the Spanish GP with Sky Sports. The 42-year-old is scheduled to cover four more F1 race weekends this season — Austin, Mexico City, Las Vegas, and the season finale in Abu Dhabi.
