Ryan Blaney recently shared a collection of photos with his family and friends from his New Year’s Eve celebration on social media. The festivities also marked a special occasion for the NASCAR driver, as he celebrated his 31st birthday alongside the holiday.

Ryan Blaney, the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series champion and driver of Team Penske’s No. 12 Ford, is in his seventh full-time season with the team. The Ohio native has accumulated 13 Cup Series wins, along with seven Xfinity and four Truck Series victories. Among his career highlights are winning the 2022 NASCAR All-Star Race and securing a landmark victory in the Coca-Cola 600 during his championship season.

Blaney recently posted a few snaps on Instagram, where he wrote a heartfelt caption to kick-start the new year.

"31 on the 31st was spent with some absolute great people! Hope everyone had a good New Years. Here’s to 2025!"

Ryan Blaney and his wife Gianna Tulio started dating in 2020, sharing their relationship journey with NASCAR fans on social media. Following Blaney’s first Cup Series championship, he proposed on December 12, 2023, in the picturesque winter backdrop of Leavenworth, Washington. A year later, they exchanged vows in a glamorous "Winter Enchantment: A Candlelit Aspen Affair" themed wedding at Hotel Jerome in Aspen, Colorado.

Ryan Blaney's Team Penske made history by claiming its third consecutive NASCAR Cup Series title in 2024, led by Joey Logano's third career championship. Logano outperformed Blaney, who was the defending champion and was one of four drivers in the championship title chase. Blaney, piloting the #12 car, fell short in his bid to secure back-to-back championships.

“I haven’t shown it even to my wife”: Ryan Blaney delivers crystal clear message about NASCAR’s exclusive ‘secret’

Former Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney recently shed light on NASCAR's long-standing tradition, the Championship Journal. Initiated in 2010, the journal is a symbol of exclusivity, with only past and future champions allowed to contribute or read its entries.

In a recent article by renowned NASCAR journalist Matt Weaver, Blaney highlighted the significance of preserving the Championship Journal tradition. He also revealed that, in keeping with its exclusivity, he did not allow his wife, Gianna Tulio, to read it.

“That’s a secret. The Champions Journal is something that, you know, a driver started, you know, over a decade ago and all the champions write in it. Each year it gets handed off to the next champion and the next champion. It was a fantastic chance. Only champions get to read."
"I haven’t shown it even to Gianna because it is a closed eyes’ only thing," he added.

Meanwhile, the Cup Series will return for the pre-season Clash, scheduled for 8:00 PM Eastern time at Bowman Gray Stadium. The race will exclusively be available to stream on FOC, MRN and SiriusXM's NASCAR channel.
