Former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick recently revealed the dream she wants to fulfill in her future. Patrick is known for her empathic connection with animals. Especially dogs hold a special place in her heart, she is also a pet parent to two dogs. Patrick shared an X post sharing her dream plan to rescue animals, starting with dogs.
The former NASCAR driver has now turned into an entrepreneur and travels a lot, but never leaves her dogs Ella, a Belgian Malinois, and Dallas, a Husky, behind. Patrick shared an image of her in a private plane with her dogs, and captioned the post:
"Might as well start off with dogs! I dream about rescuing the oldest dogs at a shelter to give them a happy home during their last years… I just don’t stay in one place enough right now. someday," wrote Danica Patrick.
Patrick also authored a book 'Pretty Intense' in which she opened up about her love for animals. In her podcast, The Pretty Intense Podcast, the 42-year-old touched upon her spiritual journey.
"It was in Tulum, Mexico. There was a dog, [on] the beach there's lots of stranded dogs and there was one that came around. First day we were on the beach and and it was so cute and I just named this one Lucy. And I really wanted to see Lucy all the time and when I would release sort of that grip on wanting so much all of a sudden, she'd appear. It'd be like an energetic experience," [5:23].
She continued:
"I think I must have been a stray dog in another life cuz, one, I feel like, I'm always hungry and two, I feel for them so much and the loneliness."
Danica Patrick took her dogs on a much-awaited trip
The former race car driver turned into an entrepreneur Danica Patrick took her dogs on a vacation with her after returning from a month-long European adventure trip in July.
Soon after coming home to her dogs, Dallas and Ella Patrick drove them two hours north to Sedona to spend some quality time with them. She went to Sedona to cool her dogs after a full month of heat in her hometown, Arizona. She shared her excitement in the caption:
"Much needed drive 2 hours north to Sedona for some cooler weather for us and our babies! It really is so stunning. If you haven’t been… put it on the list. ❤️" wrote Danica Patrick
The 34-year-old went to the gym before heading out on the drive and got exhausted after the long drive and joking wrote:
"Now for workout number 3 of the day…. Giving Dallas and Ella a bath. 😂"
