Kyle Larson and Sam Mayer both won at the Charlotte Motor Speedway and celebrated their victories uniquely. However, despite winning a controversial race, the Speedway believed that Larson's victory lane celebration "beat" Mayer.

The official X account of the Charlotte Motor Speedway posted a clip of both drivers' celebrations. In the video, Mayer ran towards the NASCAR marshal to take the checkered flag and wave it on the track. But it was the second clip that grabbed everyone's attention.

Larson's daughter Audrey joined him in his victory celebration on the track. After celebratory burnout, she ran to the marshal and took the flag straight to Larson to wave. The Charlotte Motor Speedway found the moment heartwarming and captioned the post:

"Sorry Sam, but Audrey’s got you beat. "

Audrey also got her turn to ride in the #5 Chevy Camaro ZL1 and entered the pit lane in a unique style. In the video, Larson's daughter sat on the car's door while everyone took images and applauded the father-daughter duo.

NASCAR and Charlotte Motor Speedway's Instagram pages shared images of Kyle Larson and his daughter and highlighted that they were making precious lifetime memories.

Kyle Larson's performance in the 2024 season: six wins and counting

Hendrick Motorsports' Kyle Larson bagged his sixth win at the Bank of America ROVAL 400. He qualified for the race in sixth place and went up in the pack after starting from P10 in the final stage. Despite falling down four spaces, Larson led 62 laps in the 109-lap race, showcasing his dominance.

The #5 Chevy driver won his first race of the 2024 season in the early stages of the season at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This win would come in handy at the first race of the eight, scheduled for October 20, 2024. The second victory of this season came at the Kansas Speedway and earned 57 points in the race, including five additional playoff points.

After Kansas, Larson dominated the Sonoma Raceway, clinching his third win. The Hendrick Motorsports driver bagged his fourth win at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, earning 49 points and solidifying his name on the playoff list.

The California Native broke three records with his fifth win at the Bristol Motor Speedway and made history. He became the first driver to lead more than 450 laps in the history of Hendrick Motorsports. Additionally, he became the driver to lead most laps (462) in a single race since 1977.

Also, he recorded the largest margin of victory, crossing the victory lane 7.008 seconds before his teammate Chase Elliott. Even at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course, Larson led 57.40% of the race and secured his spot in the round of eight with a victory. He now ranks at the top of the list with 33 points above the cut line.
