NASCAR driver Frankie Muniz has been receiving best wishes from fans after he revealed on Thursday that he is struggling with a persistent parasite. The former actor is ill with severe physical and mental pain.
Best known for acting in the TV series ‘Malcolm in the Middle,’ Muniz is a part-time NASCAR and ARCA Menards Series driver.
Muniz recently went to Mexico for a family vacation. However, the trip took a bad turn when he fell sick with a fever. He mentioned on July 12 that his condition worsened after returning home, saying,
“I’ve been insanely sick since my flight home from Mexico 8 days ago. Somehow I’m getting worse. This might be my last trip to Mexico after this misery.”
The 38-year-old recently shared an update about his health on X (formerly Twitter).
“Day 22 of feeling awful. Two ER visits, multiple doctor appointments, countless IVs, and I’m still struggling. I really want to get back to training,” Muniz shared on X.
Fans are eagerly waiting to see Muniz back on the racetrack, and they continue to send him encouraging messages for his fast recovery. Several fans replied to his post with positive messages.
"Praying 🙏 for you don’t lose your faith," replied one user.
"Prayers up !! Stay strong keep fighting💪🏼," wrote another.
"Hope you feel better soon buddy! Stay 💪," tweeted another fan.
Others shared their sympathy but expressed worry about the illness.
"This has to be really rough …stay strong keep fighting & rid of this ..& get back to training !!!/ racing !!!" replied one fan.
"Do you know what it is?" asked one fan.
"Is it Covid?" another user questioned.
In addition to his racing career, Muniz is also taking part in the Australian version of "I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!" to support Dementia Australia, a cause for which he cares, having lost his grandmother to dementia.
Ice Cube Told Frankie Muniz to "Take a Charge" During Celebrity Basketball Game
American actor and rapper, O'Shea Jackson Jr. recently shared that during a celebrity game, his father, Ice Cube, yelled at Frankie Muniz to "take a charge."
On Wednesday, O'Shea Jackson Jr. shared a humorous anecdote by retweeting a picture of Frankie Muniz and Nick Cannon wearing Golden State Warriors jerseys. This likely happened during the 2005 NBA Entertainment League Charity Basketball Game.
"My dad once yelled at Frankie Muniz to take a charge during a celebrity game. Which is insane," O'Shea wrote.
This was unusual, as taking a charge is usually reserved for serious games, not light-hearted celebrity matches.
