Cole Custer and Noah Gragson recently paired up to work with Fanttik tools, where the driver duo combined to hang a picture on the wall. As it seemed from the video on social media, this was the first part of an upcoming series with Custer and Gragson as primary faces.
On Wednesday, Custer released a video from his official Instagram account in which he teamed up with his SHR teammate Gragson to work with Fanttik tools. As seen in the video, they used the Fanttik D2 Cross Line Laser Level and Fanttik Fold S1 Apex Screwdriver.
"You wanna help me hang this picture and put some toys together before carrying it back? Custer asked Gragson.
"I'm in. I love hanging pictures. Let's do it," Gragson replied.
"I think we got it," said Custer after they got down to work, and hung the picture.
"Yeah it's perfect," Gragson stated.
"All right, we just got done with hanging that picture. You want to go and put some toys together for Cal?" asked Custer.
"I'd love to," said Gragson before the video ends with a 'to be continued' statement.
Both Custer and Gragson race for Stewart-Haas Racing. The former is racing in the 2024 Xfinity Series alongside Riley Herbst and drives the #00 Ford Mustang. The latter takes part in the Cup Series and is in charge of the #10 Ford Mustang Dark Horse. He drives the #10 car alongside Chase Briscoe, Ryan Preece, and Josh Berry.
Cole Custer eyeing back-to-back championships amid fatherhood challenges
Defending Xfinity Series champion Cole Custer is all set to fight for a second straight series championship this season. That too amid the fatherhood challenges, as Custer and his wife Kari welcomed their son during NASCAR's Olympics break this season.
Despite the tough challenge at home, the #00 driver is eager to add to his championship tally in 2024. Speaking about his fatherhood and title hunt altogether, the SHR driver said (via MSN.com):
“The sleep is tough. Having to figure that all out and everything. It’s just non-stop. You always have something to do. I think you get more and more in a rhythm with it, and my wife Kari has done a great job with it, adapting to it."
He then spoke about his title hunt:
“You just don’t get many chances to win championships. To have two years where you can go win championships and hopefully go back-to-back, that’s a once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing, so you have to give it everything you’ve got.”
After having qualified for the round of eight, Cole Custer currently stands in third position, +16 points above the cutline. He is expected to qualify for the championship 4 unless he suffers from a series of underwhelming performances in the upcoming races.
