A native of Halesowen, Worcestershire, Plant joined Led Zeppelin in 1968 when the band was called The Yardbirds. His compelling voice and flamboyant stage presence are often compared with other contemporary artists like Mick Jagger, Roger Daltrey, and Jim Morrison.

Plant’s solo albums Pictures at Eleven (1982) and The Principle of Moments (1983) made the top 10 on the Billboard Albums chart. He also received the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance for his 1990 project 'Page and Plant,' featuring former Led Zeppelin bandmate Jimmy Page on the guitar.

Kenny Wallace sheds light on hatred received from local dirt track racers

Many would argue that perhaps the best way to gain experience at grassroots-level racing is to compete in dirt events all across the country. Kenny Wallace, too, knew it for a fact. But he never imagined receiving hostility from his fellow racers.

In an episode of the “Herm & Schrader" show on Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s Dirty Mo Media, Wallace explained:

“When you are a NASCAR driver, and you try to go race these guys on a local level, they do not like it.”
“When I came back here, they hated me. And it was a shocking blow to me. It hurt me. It really did,” Wallace added.

Kenny Wallace is planning a trip to Italy with one of his close friends, following which he will race Nick Hoffman’s Sunoco car at the Volusia Speedway Park on January 30, 2025. Speaking of the same on an episode of his “Coffee with Kenny” show, the St. Louis, Missouri native, said:

“We start racing January 30th, January 31st, and February 1st. It's a new schedule at Volusia this year. I don't know why, but we're running dirt races in nine nights. We start January 30th.” (7:34)
