American NHRA drag racer John Force appeared in a recent episode of Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s NASCAR podcast. Things took a hilarious turn when the 75-year-old legend revealed his addiction to, well, p**n.

Force is known as one of the winningest drivers in the NHRA with 157 victories to his credit. He even won 16 championships in the NHRA and one in the AHRA Funny Car division (1984). Force is also the owner of John Force Racing, a 22-time championship-winning team.

Force was a total stranger to social media back in the day. He had not heard about Twitter (now X) and had no clue what Instagram was. But finally, when he set off on an online spree, Po**hub got him to look again. Speaking of the same, Force told Dale Earnhardt Jr.,

“Probably the worst thing that ever happened to me is that I discovered Pornhub. Talk about an addiction...I gotta get rid of it. Okay, I'm sorry...you can cut that.”

On hearing Force’s honest confession, Mike Davis, the President and EP of Dale Jr.’s Dirty Mo Media, started laughing uncontrollably. As the hysterical fit continued, Dale Jr. said:

“People always ask me all the time like, what would your dad think about Twitter and Instagram? I think I just learned my answer.” (0:16)

Although in different forms of motorsports, Force and Dale Earnhardt Sr. were contemporaries. Had Dale Sr. been alive, he would be only two years younger than Force.

Force became the first drag racer to receive the prestigious title of “Driver of the Year" in 1996. With his 11th championship win, he also became the only driver to bag more than 10 titular wins in his division. In June 2012, he received the now-obsolete Lee Iacocca Award at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. sent heartfelt wishes to John Force following the latter’s fiery crash in Virginia

During the opening round of Funny Car eliminations at the NHRA Virginia Nationals at Virginia Motorsports Park back in June this year, John Force’s engine blew up and his car caught fire. The NHRA medical team examined Force on the spot before carrying him away to the nearest medical.

Dale Earnhardt Jr., a long-known acquaintance and friend of Force, was concerned when he heard the news. Wishing for Force's speedy recovery, the two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series champion tweeted,

“Watched a previous post from Rick Mast and heard him call John Force the Richard Petty of drag racing. It is a perfect comparison. John Force has long been everything to drag racing. And for me, every moment I spent around him was as thrilling as watching him run the strip. Certainly wishing him comfort and a smooth recovery.”

Four days after the crash, Force was transferred from the trauma intensive care unit to the neuro intensive care unit. As per John Force Racing, this was seen as a positive step forward.

“The move was a welcome positive for his family members, who have maintained a daily presence at the hospital all week,” said John Force Racing in an official statement on X, formerly known as Twitter.

In October, his daughter dropped an encouraging health update on Force. The NHRA star is doing well today and, hopefully, stays at the best of his health in the days to come.
