Tara Allmendinger drops hilarious Christmas meme on handling gifts while AJ Allmendinger makes the money

AJ Allmendinger's wife, Tara, has shared a hilarious post about spending his husband's money for Christmas. The post implies that Tara buys and wraps the holiday season presents straight from the NASCAR driver's pockets.

AJ Allmendinger is a 43-year-old professional stock car racing driver heading to the Cup Series next year. After marrying Tara Meador in 2019, the couple welcomed their son, Aero James, on September 7 last year.

Per Instagram, Tara reposted a meme about spending his husband's money to buy and wrap Christmas gifts starring Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Peter Quill (Chris Pratt).

"When it's my husband that makes all the money, but I'm the one who buys all the Christmas presents and wraps them," the post read.

The scene was taken from 2019's Avengers: Endgame where Thor and Peter Quill, also known as Starlord, were fighting over who the commander of the spaceship was. Thor sarcastically agreed with Quill taking command of the ship.

Tara Allmendinger had a reposting spree of memes before sharing the family's cat, Omologato (a.k.a. Speed Racer), hiding in the Christmas tree.

Speed Racer is a tabby and calico cat who joined the Allmendinger household last month.

AJ Allmendinger ended the year with a Championship 4 appearance along with Justin Allgaier, Cole Custer, and Austin Hill. He ranked third in the overall standings, scoring one win (Las Vegas Motor Speedway), seven top-5s, and 18 top-10s.

For 2025, the Californian will compete in NASCAR with Kaulig Racing but in the Cup Series. He will drive the No. 16 Chevrolet Camaro alongside teammate Ty Dillon as both drivers mark their return to the premier series.

Tara Allmendinger shares heartwarming birthday greetings for AJ Allmendinger

After turning 43 years old on Monday, Tara Meador-Allmendinger wished her husband AJ Allmendinger a happy birthday on social media. The couple celebrated at a Charlotte Hornets home game, with Tara saying it was their first date night since Aero James was born.

Tara wrote on Instagram:

"Happy Birthday to my love @AJDinger! It was our first date night out since having Aero James.

However, the celebration may be a parents' night out but the couple still talked about their son all night.

"We talked about him all night. The @hornets game was a blast, though," she added.

While the couple had a fun night watching the home team, the Charlotte Hornets lost to the Philadelphia 76ers 121-108. Hornets forward Miles Bridges may have led his team with 24 points, but 76ers duo Tyrese Maxey and Paul George dominated the game with 73 points combined.

The Hornets dropped to a 7-19 record behind the 76ers' 8-16 record.

Aside from an NBA game, AJ Allmendinger spent his NASCAR off-season at Kaulig Racing's Christmas party this month. He went to the event with his family and future teammate Ty Dillon who wore an outfit inspired by the 1989's National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation movie.

The duo will kick off the season at Daytona International Speedway for the "Great American Race" on February 16 next year.
