"Thank you, Jesus" - Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s wife Madyson expresses gratitude for family in emotional IG post

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and his wife, Madyson Joye, recently welcomed their first child, Stetson Steele. One month into their parenthood journey, the couple is cherishing every precious moment with their son.

Prior to the NASCAR race weekend at the Chicago Street Course, Stenhouse Jr. and his wife joyfully announced the birth of their first child, Stetson Steele Stenhouse, on July 4th. They expressed their gratitude to the Lord Jesus for the wonderful blessing.

Celebrating their one-month journey into parenthood, Stenhouse Jr. and his wife, Madyson, had an adorable family photoshoot with their son. The new mom shared snippets from the shoot, expressing that everything she had been praying for was right in front of her and thanked the Lord.

"When everything you’ve ever prayed for is right in front of you 😭 Thank you, Jesus 🙏🏼...We will cherish them forever ❤️" the caption on her Instagram post read.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. shared his wife's post on his Instagram Stories, acknowledging how blessed he feels.

"Our fam blessed❤️" he wrote on his Instagram Stories.

The #47 JTG Daugherty Racing driver reportedly met Madyson Goodfleisch in 2020 and got engaged in November 2021. The couple officially tied the knot in October 2022 in Charleston, South Carolina.

In December 2023, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child in the summer of '24. Stetson Steele was born on July 4. Madyson shared a heartfelt prayer to all the mothers in the post-partum journey.


Ricky Stenhouse Jr. utilizes Olympics break to reorganize his helmet collection

NASCAR is on a two-week hiatus due to the Paris Olympics, giving drivers some well-deserved off-time. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. took advantage of the break to organize his helmet collection and shared a timelapse of the process on social media.

The 36-year-old also included his father's helmet, a former sprint car driver who inspired his son. The #47 Chevy driver also highlighted a helmet from his early Cup Series days with Roush Fenway Racing. The caption on his post read:

"Finally organizing my helmets—top left is my and my dad’s first helmets, then bottom right is the start of my 2014 season 👌"

RFK Racing co-owner Brad Keselowski appreciated Stenhouse Jr.'s efforts to organize the helmet collection. The veteran NASCAR driver wrote in the comments section that the collection looked great.

"Looks great!" Keselowski's comment read.

The NASCAR Cup Series returns to action at Richmond Raceway with four races remaining before the playoffs begin. Keselowski has already qualified for the playoffs while Stenhouse Jr. is out of the playoff picture and occupies 25th place in the regular season standings.
