Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing recently shared a video on social media where TJ Majors, Brad Keselowski's spotter was doing his usual Cup Series job. However, Atlanta's Quaker State 400 Available At Walmart held on September 8 also featured Majors' countless "in the middle" calls. As the video surfaced on social media, fans shared their reactions to the hilarious yet eyebrow-raising post.
The 2:45 minute video consisted of Major constantly providing updates to Keselowski about his position where he uttered "in the middle" countless times. Keselowski started his Atlanta Motor Speedway race from 19th place and was technically "in the middle" the whole race.
RFK Racing shared the video on X with a caption,
"The Compilation You Didn’t Ask For Every time @Tjmajors called Brad 3-wide middle in Atlanta. Any guesses on how many times it was?"
The job of a spotter is to point out the driver's accurate position and help him avoid any sort of contact during the race. They also help the drivers overcome the deficit of their blind side and peripheral vision.
As fans came across the video, they shared their thoughts on the comment section and quote-tweeted it. Here are some fans reacting to the compilation of Majors' "in the middle" calls.
After watching the video, A fan wrote, "Ok, that gave me a headache."
"You can take the middle out of the man but you can’t take the man out of the middle," another fan hilariously commented.
"I do believe he said at one point "in the middle of the middle," another fan, wrote.
"I'm 16 seconds in... BK is on another level for not jumping out of his moving vehicle," a fan remarked
"I think I found my new ringtone," another fan said
"A heck of a lot. Brad needs to know where he is, though," a fan wrote.
The RFK Racing driver finished the race in 19th place, and bid goodbye to his 2024 Cup Series hopes.
Brad Keselowski's RFK Racing unlikely to add a charter in 2025 amid ongoing Charter tussle
Brad Keselowski, co-owned Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing, is unlikely to add a charter to its already two charter teams in the upcoming season. Keselowski, in his recent interview, said that RFK did not have any announcement to make on a new charter.
"We don’t have any announcements that we’re ready to make, but hopefully we’ll have something to share with everybody here in the next month or so,” Brad Keselowski said. “But nothing publicly that I’m ready to talk about."
Chatters within the sport suggested that Ryan Preece would have filled the third charter. However, the team management thought that Preece did not reach his full potential yet.
"The team believes [Ryan Preece] has not reached his potential as a Cup driver and has never been with an organization on an upswing like RFK has been on since Keselowski joined on as co-owner in 2022."
The Concord-based team reduced its charters to two in 2017 and has been running in the same capacity since. Their latest announcement on charter arrived amid the feud between NASCAR and Cup Series teams (23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsport)
