Former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick recently shared words of praise for Donald Trump from a rally in Michigan.

Patrick retired from racing in 2018 and is now an analyst for Sky Sports covering the US Grand Prix. She has been openly supporting the Republican presidential candidate on her social media and on-ground. Patrick attended various events and rallies for the party over the past few weeks.

In a recent post on Instagram, she shared pictures from her meeting with the former president backstage in a red pantsuit.

"on stage at his 4th rally of the day here in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The energy he has is truly unreal... riding on Trump force 1 for the final evening of the campaign… Talking about race cars," Patrick wrote.

Patrick further wrote about the first political event she ever attended and the criticism she received for it.

"December 2023 at my first ever political event, a fire was lit. All I posted was some pictures and a caption that included - I love this country. I was immediately faced with judgement and backlash. And it pissed me off. And you really shouldn’t do that to someone with motivation and determination," she added.

Patrick also shared pictures with former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard and ex-ESPN reporter Sage Steele.

The 42-year-old said earlier that she voted for the first time in her life this election and chose the former president. Patrick also spoke at the “Team Trump’s Women’s Tour” event in Phoenix, Arizona, last month.

Danica Patrick critiques Democrats

Danica Patrick spoke at a Donald Trump rally in Lititz, Pennsylvania on November 3. She believes the current political situation is about choosing between good and evil.

"We're not living in a time of Republican versus Democrat, we're living in good vs. evil. We're living in right vs. wrong. And I want to be on the right side of that history because this is the most important decision that we will see in our life, is getting Donald Trump into office," Patrick said on Sunday. Patrick also questioned Kamala Harris for not discussing her ballot measure on Proposition 36, which would make shoplifting a felony for repeat offenders. It would also increase punishments for certain drug charges and let judges order treatment for people with multiple drug offenses.

"If this is what she is admittedly hiding, it just makes you wonder,' Patrick wrote on X. 'What else? And why? Like in a relationship, this is kind of a red flag," Patrick wrote.

The final day to vote for the presidential election is November 5.
