Natalie Decker is a soon-to-be mom as she's nearly seven months pregnant. However, things aren't going swimmingly as Decker and her husband, Derek Lemke, are amid construction of their new 'barndominium', which has taken immense work and has made their new house a mess.
Decker took to Instagram to share a video of the ongoing project, penning a caption that read:
"House update 😆"
In the video, Decker stresses that the barndominium needs to be finished by the time the baby arrives, comparing their situation to the old saying that matters will only get worse before they get better.
"Currently, we are living in an unfinished bardominium," Decker said. "My husband is trying to finish it, and the house is a disaster. I am almost seven months pregnant, and this house needs to be finished before this baby comes."
Decker went on to say the couple is planning a baby shower for early December, therefore making it crucial that they get the house finished in time. The 27-year-old added that Derek has a lot of work left to finish, and because of that, things have changed dramatically around their household.
"Derek usually makes me a coffee and brings it to me every morning in bed, but since he's been working so hard, I decided to make him his coffee this morning and be a cute, good little wife," Decker said. "Every morning, my husband wakes up extremely sore because he's lifting 10 foot pieces of drywall all by himself."
Decker said the house came with a lot of metal, so the couple has decided to replace it with drywall. As the video continued, the soon-to-be mom showed her followers the new fireplace that was installed as well as the baby room, which is still a work in progress.
Decker concluded the video by saying there will be more to come as they continue working on the barndominium.
"That's the barndominium update," Decker said. "Stay tuned for more updates coming soon. Love you, bye."

The next month, Decker took to her Instagram again and revealed the gender of the baby as part of the couple's gender reveal. The couple revealed they'll be having a baby boy.
