Four-time NASCAR Cup Series winner Ricky Stenhouse Jr. recently took to social media to share a photo of the aftermath of a tornado that stormed through Slide Job Ranch, his self-owned 300-acre ranch located in North Carolina. The tornado's wrath took out the roof of the driver's shop/gym.

The driver of the #47 JTG Daugherty Racing Chevrolet shared the photos on his Instagram story. In the first of two photos posted, Stenhouse is seen standing on top of the roof to his shop/gym in the wake of the tornado's destruction. The 2023 Daytona 500 tagged his ranch's official page and penned a caption that read:

Part of the roof appeared to have been blown off following the destructive tornado. Stenhouse later posted a photo with the roof seemingly intact after making repairs, adding a caption that explained that the warnings prior to the tornado were legitimate. He wrote:

The unfortunate aftermath of the tornado comes not long after this year's fall Talladega winner took to Instagram to spread some holiday cheer. On Christmas Eve, Stenhouse posted photos of himself alongside his wife, Madyson, and the couple's five-month-old baby boy, Stetson, in front of a Christmas tree. The driver added a caption that wished his followers a Merry Christmas Eve.

"Merry Christmas Eve from our family to yours!! 🎄🎁"

This past season, Stenhouse snapped a winless drought that dates back to the 2023 Daytona 500 when he prevailed over Brad Keselowski by 0.006 seconds in the Yellawood 500 at the Talladega Speedway in October. It marked the Mississippi native's fourth career win and second behind the wheel of the #47 car.

Aside from the win, it was a difficult year for Stenhouse amid his fifth season with JTG Daugherty Racing. He posted six top 10s, three top fives, and finished 25th in the points standings.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. said he "can't wait" to get back to racing in social media post

With the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season just over a month away, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is already itching to get back behind the wheel. He made his intentions known in a recent Instagram post.

Stenhouse posted a short video clip of his #47 car zipping through the tri-oval at the Talladega Superspeedway last October, a race he'd go on to win. Stenhouse added a caption to the post that read:

"Can't wait to get back behind the wheel 😎"

Prior to joining JTG Daugherty Racing, Stenhouse wheeled the #17 Roush Fenway Racing Ford from 2013-2019. He won two races with the team at Talladega and Daytona, both of which came in 2017.
