Former NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s wife Amy Earnhardt had once responded to a question about her husband Dale Jr. giving her advice about her social media usage. Through the years, Dale Jr. and Amy Earnhardt have become one of the most adored and popular couples in NASCAR.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. followed in the footsteps of his legendary father, Dale Earnhardt Sr. by making his NASCAR debut in the Busch Series (now Xfinity) in 1996. He quickly rose to prominence, securing back-to-back championships in 1998 and 1999. During the course of his career, he amassed 50 race wins across NASCAR's top two divisions, though he never captured a Cup Series championship like his father, who won the prestigious title 7 times.

Amy Earnhardt has a massive social media following, where she regularly posts about her personal and professional life. In an interview with The Athletic's Jeff Gluck back in 2017, Dale Jr.'s wife was asked several questions about her social media usage. One of the questions inquired whether Dale Jr. advised his wife on how she uses her social media platforms. Here's what she sakd in response (via jeffgluck.com):

"Yes. So this is a great question. I have many a times gotten on Twitter, and I am an opinionated girl. I can be a little cut and dry, and that doesn’t come across so well, especially just in text on Twitter with a lot of people that follow who don’t actually know who you are."
"So he’ll see me start typing something, he’ll look over my shoulder and be like, “I don’t think you should send that.” And now I am really nervous about what I send out, because not only do I have Dale watching if I’m gonna send it out, but his entire brand team. There’s a wrath that comes from it, not just from Dale but with his entire team," she added.

Dale Jr. and Amy Earnhardt got engaged on July 17, 2015, and were married on New Year's Eve at Richard Childress' Childress Vineyards in Lexington, North Carolina. Their first daughter, Isla, was born on April 30, 2018, followed by the arrival of their second daughter, Nicole, in October 2020.

Earnhardt Jr. continues his motorsports legacy as the owner of JR Motorsports, a successful team in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. In addition, he co-owns the zMAX CARS Tour alongside NASCAR veteran Kevin Harvick, both working to elevate and support the grassroots racing series.
