Jack Wood is set to make his first full-time appearance in the NASCAR Truck Series with McAnally-Hilgemann Racing (MHR) in the 2025 season.
On Tuesday (December 17), McAnally-Hilgemann Racing announced that Wood will drive the #91 Chevrolet Truck beginning with the season-opener at Daytona International Speedway, with primary sponsorship from Adaptive One Calipers Chevrolet. Kevin Bellicourt will serve as the crew chief of Wood throughout the entire 25-race Truck Series schedule.
After MHR announced Jack Wood’s return to the full-time NASCAR Truck Series campaign on their official X, fans took to social media platforms to voice their opinions. There were mixed reactions. from the fans.
Several fans feel MHR are destroying their Truck Series future while some questioned Wood’s performance. One fan wrote:

Jack Wood makes his feelings known about his full-time NASCAR Truck Series return at MHR
The 24-year-old Loomis, California, native is grateful to MHR for allowing him to compete full-time in the NASCAR Truck Series and is looking forward to making it count.
In a team release, Wood said (via tobychristie.com):
“I’m definitely thankful and excited to be back at MHR next season. We had a lot of bright spots this past season and have a great foundation to build on. I have a lot of trust in Kevin (Bellicourt), Bill (McAnally), and everyone at MHR, so that makes me excited for what’s ahead of us next year. It’s great to have Adaptive One Calipers board with us and looking forward to activating with their customers throughout the season.”
This past season, Wood made 13 starts with MHR and recorded a season’s best finish of 12th place at North Wilkesboro Speedway. He also competed full-time in the ARCA Menards Series West with MHR, earning five top-5s and seven top-10 finishes.
Jack Wood has made 61 starts in the Truck Series as a part-time driver in the last four years. He hopes to perform at his full potential and leave his mark in his rookie season.
