JR Motorsports, owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr., recently shared a video on their official X handle, hinting at an upcoming announcement regarding their new driver, Carson Kvapil. The team has been actively assembling a full-season sponsorship for Kvapil and is building excitement among fans with this strategic social media post. Many fans suspect that the forthcoming announcement will involve a sponsorship deal with Bass Pro.
Dale Earnhardt Jr., who made his first start of the season at Bristol, encountered several hurdles during the race, including radio complications, not wearing his glasses, and needing to switch helmets mid-race, yet he managed to finish in seventh place. Meanwhile, he has also been seeking a sponsor to support his young Xfinity driver, Carson Kvapil. Kvapil, who made his NASCAR debut in the Truck Series in 2023, has been racing in the CARS Late Model Stock Car Tour since 2018.
On the occasion of National Hunting and Fishing Day, JR Motorsports leveraged the event to further tease their audience by posting a video of Kvapil on their official X handle, accompanied by an intriguing caption.
"If you had one shot... Make it count."
Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports re-shared a video and speculated about its implications, noting:
"JRM posted this earlier today. Team has been working on putting together a full season of sponsorship for Carson Kvapil. No announcement yet but looks like some social buildup"
Carson Kvapil also contributed to the buzz by posting two pictures of himself in the same camouflage outfit, captioning them:
"Celebrating National Hunting and Fishing Day the right way - thank you to @BassProShops for getting me ready for it. 👊"
All these posts sparked curiosity among fans about the potential sponsor for his Xfinity Series races, with many speculating it to be Bass Pro Shops. One fan commented,
"This screams bass pro shop sponsorship"
Below are a few more reactions from fans to the post:
"In the 1 car with True Timber Camo, maybe Bass Pro partnership," one took a guess.
"Bass Pro for the Carson Kvapil sponsor for 2025 Rookie year," mentioned another fan.
"Bass bro" a fan affirmed.
"Looks like Bass Pro maybe signing up with Carson, makes sense they back his late model car," one fan connected the dots.
"It’s also National Hunting and Fishing day, and he’s already sponsored by Bass Pro," another fan said.
