Three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Tony Stewart's wife Leah Pruett recently shared a heartwarming story with her son on her Instagram account. She shared a snippet of four generations of her family in a single frame and wrote a hilarious caption for her dog.
Pruett met Stewart via FaceTime after Don Prudhomme introduced them. The couple began dating in 2019 and tied the knot in November 2021 after getting engaged in March of the same year.
The 36-year-old debuted in the Top Fuel series in 2013 and joined Tony Stewart Racing in 2022. After three years of marriage, the couple welcomed their first and only child, Dominic James Stewart, in November 2024.
Recently, Tony Stewart's wife took a moment to spend time with her mother, Linda Pruett, grandmother, and son. Pruett's grandmother held Dominic, and Stewart's toy Australian shepherd named Cash photobombed the image and created a wholesome family moment. She shared the image on her Instagram story and wrote:
"4 gens in the house 🥰"
She hilariously captioned the story after her dog jumped into the family photo:
"@cash.at.large always finds his way in the mix"
Tony Stewart replaced his wife Leah Pruett in the 2024 NHRA season and competed as a rookie in the Top Fuel Division. But after the birth of her son, Mrs. Stewart opened up about her racing plans.
Tony Stewart's wife Leah Pruett revealed her future racing plans
Former NASCAR driver Tony Stewart's wife Leah Pruett is looking forward to returning to the NHRA series eventually. But she is currently occupied with her son and is keeping her racing plans on hold for the 2025 season.
In an interview with "Behind The Catch Fence," Pruett spoke about continuing her break from racing in the 2025 season.
“As much as I can't wait to, at some point—whenever that is—get back in a dragster, it's not 2025. I'm looking forward to that. I'm not letting that take any moment away from being with this baby,” said Tony Stewart's wife.
“Literally, you know, his face is changing every day, and he's growing every day. Our phones now have hundreds of photos on them and videos of just pure baby nothingness. I'm just making sure we capture it. I keep it right here, keep it in my heart, because he's going to be walking, talking, and talking back to Tony sooner than we can imagine...I'm having the best time of my life,” she added.
The mother of Dominic James Stewart has spent nearly three decades in the NHRA series and has won 12 events. Additionally, she wrapped her last season in third place in the final standings in 2023. Tony Stewart has been covering her since she took a break and will continue to race in the 2025 season during Pruett's hiatus.
