NASCAR champion Tony Stewart and his NHRA championship-winning wife Leah Pruett welcomed their first child Dominic James on November 17 this year. Pruett shared a couple of pictures of her giving Dominic a bath to commemorate the National Bathtub Party Day on Instagram.
Stewart first met the Californian Top Fuel racer in 2020. The couple announced their engagement on social media on March 18th, 2021, and got married in Mexico eight months later on November 21, 2021.
Pruett then decided to step away from racing to plan for a family, thereby pushing Stewart out of retirement to replace her in the Tony Stewart Racing team. This was a part of the NHRA Top Fuel Dragster racing series this year. The couple welcomed their first child, son Dominic James, on November 17.
To celebrate the National Bathtub Party Day, Pruett shared pictures of her and Dominic, with the baby in the bathtub on her Instagram story. Here's a look at the post:
Apart from the above-mentioned story, Pruett has also posted pictures of the couple with baby Dominic and their pet dog near a lake. Take a look at the Instagram post:

As for the track, Stewart will continue racing in the Top Fuel Series for another season in 2025. Pruett, meanwhile, has decided to focus on the role of a mother for some time before returning to the racecar.
"She's done that and done all the hard work," - Tony Stewart praised his wife Leah Pruett for all her efforts during pregnancy
NASCAR Hall of Famer Tony Stewart added the title 'Dad' to his growing list of roles in November. In an interview with senior journalist Bob Pockrass, the former NASCAR and IndyCar champion praised his wife Leah Pruett for her hard work as a mother.
"I was tasked with the job of creating a list of names that I liked and then hand it over to her. And then she whittled down to what she liked out of what I liked. So I felt like that was a pretty fair request. She has literally the whole season moved us into a new house in Lake Havasu, a second trip, got the baby room done another weekend, that I was running the alcohol car. Got the baby room done in Indiana. Got travel stuff ready to go for when we're traveling to the races on the weekends," (0:09 onward).
"She has worked her ass off for this child and for us as a family. And she's done that and done all the hard work. In the meantime, I've been out racing and having fun doing what I love to do. But truth be told too, she loves to organize. So she was happy, I was happy," Stewart added (0:39 onwards).
Pockrass shared the video of the aforementioned interaction on his X page. Here's a look at the post:
Apart from Tony, his father Nelson Stewart has also shared plans to enter drag racing in 2025.
