Former NASCAR star Danica Patrick recently shared a sneak peek into her intense workout regimen via her Instagram stories. While doing so, she also revealed her real intention behind recording her exercises; laying out a thirst trap for her fans on social media.

Danica Patrick is one of the most successful women in the world of open-wheel car racing. To this day, she remains the only woman to have ever won the prestigious Indy Japan 300. Besides that, she also flaunts the best finishing position at the Indianapolis 500 (3rd) and the famed Daytona 500 (8th) by any female driver.

Patrick leads an extremely active lifestyle. Therefore, hitting the gym is a must for the 42-year-old Wisconsin native. However, recording hamstring curls seems lame to her. But that was until she found the perfect camera angle.

Reflecting on the same, Patrick said,

"We thought hamstring curl videos were too lame to film... until we made them thirst trap videos with camera angles."

Patrick hosts her own podcast called "Pretty Intense", and has served as an F1 commentator for Sky Sports in the past. Besides that, she owns two wine companies; Somnium Wine and Danica Rose Wine based in Napa Valley, California, and France, respectively. She is also the proprietor of 'Voyant by Danica', a brand that makes premium luxury candles.

"Love you pops!" Danica Patrick gives a shout-out to her dad during conversation with Kenny Wallace

Veteran NASCAR insider Kenny Wallace invited Danica Patrick's father, T.J. Patrick, to a recent episode of his podcast: 'The Kenny Wallace Conversation'. Among other questions, Wallace asked T.J. how the latter deals with the hatred that her daughter receives from fans. T.J. laughed, revealing that he doesn't even read those comments most of the time.

T.J. Patrick then claimed that his daughter was one of the most talented female drivers out there, who could have gone faster than many male speedsters during her prime.

"I know and the right people know, if you put her in a race car she is gonna be almost if not quicker than any guy in an Indy Car, in a stock car...in the right circumstances, she can do it," said Patrick. "You don't make it to the top level by being average."
"She is very brave and determined. She has never had an easy pass in her life. Nobody's let her by. Everybody that races with Danica races her harder than they do any other guy. And if you don't believe it, ask any of the other girls. (But) she never complained about it," he said of his daughter.

Danica Patrick reposted the clip that Wallace uploaded on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote,

"Love you pops! Taught me well! 🩷"

Although Patrick retired from formal racing in 2017, she took part in the 2018 Indianapolis 500. Patrick also ran the Daytona 500 that year but was ousted from contention on lap 102.
