NASCAR driver Tyler Reddick is a little over seven weeks out of his career-best season, which saw him make the coveted Championship 4 for the first time and eventually finish fourth on points. Most recently, the California native shared very personal news via X, formerly known as Twitter.

Reddick and his wife Alexa DeLeon, who tied the knot earlier last year, are going to be parents for the second time. They are expecting their second child in June 2025, the NASCAR full-timer announced through his post.

“A new year and a new family member is coming to the Reddick household!” Tyler Reddick captioned the post. “Baby #2 arriving in June!”

Reddick is in his second season driving the No. 45 entry for 23XI Racing, a soon-to-be three-car Cup Series team owned by former NBA star Michael Jordan and Joe Gibbs Racing driver, Denny Hamlin. This year, he amassed three wins, 12 top-5s and 21 top-10s. Notably, Reddick tied his career-high in wins and set new career-high records for top-5s and top-10s.

Reddick is expected to return behind the wheel of the No. 45 Toyota Camry XSE next season, which scheduled to start on February 16 at the iconic Daytona International Speedway. However, a non-point paying, season-opening race will be held at Winston-Salem's Bowman Gray Stadium on February 2.

Tyler Reddick reveals his prime focus following career-best season

For full-time drivers like Tyler Reddick, a season of NASCAR means constant traveling and very little family time from February through November. They get only a little over 2 months to recharge before the hustle begins again.

So, Reddick is not someone to keep talking about racing when he’s with family during those two months.

“I have plenty of good notes to go back through,” Tyler Reddick said (via NASCAR). “We all do. I think at some point we’ll review the season as a whole. But yeah, I think at moments I probably have, but not for long periods of time. I’ve just been doing other things outside of racing that’s taking up all my day.”
Working on other things outside of racing, catching up on life, honey-dos, whatever you want to call them. So yeah, once I get all that stuff in a good place, I feel like I’ll be decompressed and ready to get back, just focused on racing,” Reddick added.

2025 is going to mark Reddick’s fifth full year in the Cup Series. His first series win came in 2022, back when he drove for Richard Childress Racing. Besides his array of accomplishments in the Cup Series, Reddick has 10 career Xfinity wins. He is also a two-time, back-to-back NASCAR Xfinity Series champion.
