23XI Racing driver Tyler Reddick is navigating a pivotal moment in both his racing career and personal life, as the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season is just one month away. He had a remarkable campaign this past season, making his first championship 4 appearance along with the regular season championship.
Since joining 23XI Racing in 2023, Reddick has established himself as a rising star at the Cup level, showcasing his skill with strong performances and consistent results. He ended the season in sixth place in 2023 and fourth place in 2024 in the final championship standings.
After winning the Homestead-Miami playoff race, the 28-year-old driver locked his championship 4 spot alongside Ryan Blaney, William Byron, and this season’s eventual champion Joey Logano.
Reddick was a strong contender, but his title hopes ended when he couldn’t match the speed of the other three contenders in the title-deciding Phoenix Race. He finished fourth among the title contenders and failed to win his first Cup title.
Off the track, Reddick’s personal life is also in the spotlight this year. He married his fiancée, Alexa DeLeon, on July 25, 2024. The couple got engaged in May 2023 and chose the Olympic break to plan their wedding. However, since then Reddick has been involved in racing, and now, he has time to spend with his family this off-season.
In a recent interview with NASCAR, Tyler Reddick explained that he’s been dedicating time to responsibilities and tasks outside of racing, including personal life and household duties.
“Working on other things outside of racing, catching up on life, honey-do’s, whatever you want to call them. So yeah, once I get all that stuff in a good place, I feel like I’ll be decompressed and ready to get back just focused on racing.” Reddick said.
“At some point we’ll review the season as a whole” – Tyler Reddick
Despite missing the championship, it was a career-best season for Reddick as he clinched three wins and 12 top-five and 21 top-ten finishes and led 597 laps with an average finish of 13.1 in 36 races. He reached the final 4 race with a stunning win by beating Denny Hamlin and Ryan Blaney on the final lap at Homestead.
In the aforementioned interview, Tyler Reddick shared that he hasn’t spent much time deeply reflecting on his 2024 season, as his focus has been divided between racing and other activities outside of it. His current priority is to stay engaged with life beyond racing.
Reddick said (via NASCAR.com):
“I don’t know if ‘reflect’ is really the word that comes to mind for me. I have plenty of good notes to go back through. We all do. I think at some point we’ll review the season as a whole. But yeah, I think at moments I probably have, but not for long periods of time. I’ve just been doing other things outside of racing that are taking up all my day.”
With his recent form, Tyler Reddick’s future in NASCAR looks promising, and he will look to replicate the same performance in 2025 with an eye on the championship this time.
