The two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series champion Tyler Reddick and his wife Alexa DeLone recently announced major news on Wednesday. The couple is set to welcome their second child, and Alexa held a Q&A session after sharing the news where a fan congratulated the couple on the big news and asked how far apart she is from Denny Hamlin's fiancée, Jordan Fish's due date.
2024 was an eventful year for Tyler Reddick as he made strides in the sport with his exceptional performance in the Cup Series. Just in his fourth season, he entered the Championship Four round. Furthermore, he also tied the knot with his wife, Alexa, on July 25, 2024, and is expecting his second child in June 2025.
Meanwhile, 23XI Racing co-owner Denny Hamlin announced on Christmas that a new family member will be joining them in June 2025, the same month team driver Tyler Reddick is expecting his second child.
Reflecting upon the same during the Q&A session, a fan asked Reddick's wife about the gap between her and Jordan Fish's due date. The fan also left congratulatory wishes for the couple's big announcement and wrote:
"How far apart are you and Jordan?? So exciting for 23XI 💗"
Reddick's wife gave a two-word response alongside an image of her ultrasound and wrote:
"Basically minutes... 🤪"
Alexa seemingly referred to the short time frame between her and Jordan's due dates seeing as both couples recently announced that they were pregnant.
Tyler Reddick and his wife shared a joint Instagram post featuring their four-year-old son, Beau, and announced the news of their pregnancy. The couple wrote:
"A new year and a new family member is coming to the Reddick household! Baby #2 arriving in June!"
Hamlin's fiancée reshared the post and wrote a heartfelt note on her Instagram story.
Tyler Reddick's wife Alexa revealed husband's choice for their baby's name
In the same Q&A session, the 23XI Racing driver Tyler Reddick's wife, Alexa DeLeon, was asked about the name of her future baby. In response, she revealed that Reddick wants to name the baby "Fireball".
"Tyler likes Fireball for a boy🤣"
Reddick's wife shared the image of former NASCAR driver Edward Glenn Roberts Jr., who held the nickname "Fireball." He was among the first few finest drivers of stock car racing and raced between 1950 and 1964. He secured 33 wins, 122 top-ten finishes, and 32 pole positions in 206 starts during his 15-year stint in the Cup Series and was inducted into the NASCAR HoF in 2014.
Reddick and Alexa welcomed their first child in January 2020. Choosing a name for their firstborn was not easy for them as they were confused between two names: Beau and Ryker.
To settle the debate, Alexa disclosed that she made a bet with Reddick, saying that if he won the 2019 Xfinity Championship, he could name his son Beau. Reddick ended up scoring six victories and ultimately clinched the title, which led the couple to name their son, Beau.
