After his disappointing 2024 Cup Series season with Stewart Haas Racing, rumors of Ryan Preece joining Brad Keselowski’s RFK Racing next year have been circulating in the NASCAR community. Ahead of a 'major announcement' by RFK, fans have begun reacting to an X post by senior journalist Bob Pockrass.

"This format doesn’t feel ideal for rewarding the NASCAR Cup championship" - Brad Keselowski criticized NASCAR's playoff format after the Phoenix race
The 2012 Cup Series Champion Brad Keselowski took to X (formerly Twitter) to criticize NASCAR's playoffs format. The Michigan-born racer pointed to a crucial flaw in the existing system for awarding championships.
Despite having a decent regular season, Keselowski was eliminated early from the 2024 playoffs. Meanwhile, the veteran racer pointed out the system favoring drivers with a single win over others with more consistent performance throughout.
Although he felt Logano deserved the win, Keselowski criticized NASCAR for the flawed playoffs system on X.
"2 things can be true at the same time- Joey Logano deserved to win the championship; This format doesn’t feel ideal for rewarding the NASCAR cup championship," Brad Keselowski wrote.
As for the 2025 Cup Series season, Brad Keselowski is expected to drive for RFK Racing, a team he co-owns with Jack Roush and John W. Henry.
