Joe Gibbs Racing driver Christopher Bell's No. 20 Toyota crew won the NASCAR All-Star Pit Crew Challenge ahead of Sunday's main race. The pit crew recorded a blistering pit stop time of 13.22 seconds.
The much-awaited NASCAR All-Star race at North Wilkesboro Speedway will kick off merely a day later. The race, which returned at this iconic racetrack last season, returns to NWB for a second consecutive season, with Kyle Larson entering as the defending champion.
Ahead of the race, NASCAR organised an entertaining Pit Crew Challenge. Christopher Bell's No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota team recorded the fastest legal pit stop, earning a $100,000 prize. Winning the challenge also granted Bell's team the first choice of pit stall for Sunday night's NASCAR All-Star Race main event.
Speaking to Fox Sports' Jamie Little after the challenge, Bell said:
"What can you say? It’s two in a row for these guys and it’s been awesome. I’m incredibly happy for them and honored to be their driver."

Meanwhile, Michael Hicks, the rear tire changer for the No. 20 pit crew, added:
"I’m blessed to be with this group of guys. I couldn’t do this if I didn’t have a good supporting cast. Those guys are the best on pit road, and we’ve got a stud for a driver."
