Kyle Larson is on a roll this year. Apart from leading the 2024 Cup Series regular championship, he has also won six back-to-back Sprint Car series races.
The one-time Cup Series champion has been pushing the limits in terms of performance. With four wins so far, the California-based racer has been leading both the regular as well as the Playoffs table. Besides the Cup Series, Larson has also been competing in IndyCar and Sprint Car series as a part-time racer. He was the first driver in a decade to attempt the 'Double Duty' (Indianapolis 500 and Coca-Cola 600 race in a day) this year.
Amid the Olympics break in NASCAR, Larson took the opportunity to compete in the Sprint Car series. Now, the 32-year-old driver has won his sixth consecutive race on a dirt track. He also managed to defeat his brother-in-law Brad Sweet, who is regarded as one of the finest dirt racers on the current grid, at ThunderBowl Raceway.
A clip of the final few laps of the race has been shared by FloRacing on X. Here's a look at the post, captioned:

"I am better than him as an all-around driver” - Kyle Larson claims he is better than Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen
Kyle Larson is currently one of the strongest contenders to win the 2024 Cup Series regular championship. He is also named the 2024 Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year.
With good results in NASCAR, IndyCar, and Sprint Car series, the California-based racer claims that he is a better driver than the reigning Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen. After winning his sixth back-to-back Sprint Car race, Kyle McFadden of FloRacing questioned Larson about whether he believed he could defeat Verstappen.
“Not really. I know in my mind I am better than him as an all-around driver. There’s no way (Verstappen) can get into a Sprint Car and win the Knoxville Nationals. There’s no way he can go win the Chili Bowl. There’s no way he can go win a Cup race at Bristol," Larson replied, explaining his bold claim.
“There’s probably no way I can go win a Formula 1 race at Monaco, but I think I’d have a better shot at him (doing what he does than him doing what I do) just because of the car element," he added.
As of now, both Kyle Larson and Max Verstappen are leading the NASCAR Cup Series and Formula 1 Drivers' championship, respectively. The former has four wins, 12 Top 10s, and nine Top 5 finishes in 22 NASCAR races, while the latter has seven wins and two podium places in 14 F1 GPs so far.
