Ryan Blaney was unable to defend his title this year. However, he didn’t fail to dazzle at the NASCAR Awards Ceremony on November 22 at the Charlotte Convention Center.
Wearing a jet black suit alongside his fiancée Gianna Tulio, who draped in a sequin body con dress, the couple drew countless eyes. Blaney paired his look with a beard, which he grows every year for good luck in the final weeks of the season.
From 2019 until 2023, the Red Carpet event was held in Nashville. This was the first time that the gala event was hosted in Charlotte. Here is a video posted by veteran journalist Bob Pockrass of FOX Sports showing Blaney with Tulio:
Blaney finished second in the NASCAR Cup Series standings with 5035 points, five behind his Team Penske teammate and 2024 Cup Series champion, Joey Logano. This year, the #12 driver amassed three wins, 12 top-5s and 18 top-10s.
Blaney fell 0.33 seconds behind Logano in the championship race at Phoenix Raceway (on November 10), and thus settled for a disappointing runner-up finish. However, it was his second straight year making the coveted Championship 4. Blaney’s win at Martinsville Speedway the week before had paved his way to the title-deciding series finale.
Denny Hamlin’s fiancée responds to Ryan Blaney and Gianna Tulio’s photo shoot
Ryan Blaney and Giann Tulio have been dating since 2020 and the couple got engaged in Leavenworth, Washington, last year. The couple is expected to get married in December in Aspen.
With just a month to go until the big day, Tulio dressed in a beautiful, white bridal gown while Blaney posed in an all-black suit and a black bow tie. The lovebirds shared a photo of themselves through a joint post, which Tulio captioned:
“One month until we say “I do””.
However, Denny Hamlin’s fiancée Jordan Fish took a glance at the picture and thought that Blaney and Tulio had already tied the knot. Later on, she realized that it was just a prenuptial photo shoot. Fish commented,
“Omg my heart just sank for a minute! I thought yall went and tied the knot already!! But eeeek so exciting!”
Getting married is the first thing on Blaney’s bucket list for this offseason. His demands are simple: all he wants at his wedding is cowboy hats for everyone and a live cigar roller. Speaking of which, in an interview with The Athletic, the Ford pilot said,
“I only had two things I wanted at our wedding: A cowboy hatmaker, so we can have custom cowboy hats for everybody who wants them. And then I wanted a cigar-roller. So there will be a person live cigar-rolling.”
As Blaney and Tulio prepare for their wedding, NASCAR prepares for its 2025 season. With a trip to Mexico scheduled on June 15, the usher of the newly formed Haas Factory Team, and the commencement of the new $7.7 billion media deal, there is indeed a lot to be excited about.
