Former NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. once spoke about the influence his wife Amy Earnhardt had on his life after they got married. Dale and Amy Earnhardt are one of the most popular couples in the sport and have garnered a large fan following.
Earnhardt Jr. followed in his legendary father Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s footsteps, who won seven titles in NASCAR’s top division. Dale Jr.'s debut in NASCAR was in the Busch Series (now Xfinity) in 1996 where he won back-to-back championships in 1998 and 1999. However, despite his numerous achievements, Dale Jr. never captured a Cup Series championship, in contrast to his father’s enormous success.
Dale Jr. and Amy Reimann (now Earnhardt) tied the knot on New Year's Eve 2016 at Childress Vineyards in Lexington, North Carolina. A year after their marriage, the former Xfinity Series champion retired from full-time racing at the end of the 2017 Cup Series campaign.
In a 2018 Autoweek interview, Dale Earnhardt Jr. was asked how being married to Amy had changed certain aspects of his life.
"I’ve grown a lot as a person. We both have changed tremendously. There were not many surprises or disappointments. Every day is better with Amy as a part of it, and I’ve learned to be someone who makes her life better each day," Dale Jr. added.
"So far it’s been wonderful and VERY busy! We are ever closer and in sync and are extremely excited to meet our daughter soon. I can honestly say, I haven’t had any disappointments or surprises thus far," Amy Earnhardt added.

Following his retirement, Earnhardt Jr. started Dirty Mo Media, a company that runs several NASCAR-focused podcasts, offering fans a detailed look into the sport. In addition, he co-owns JR Motorsports, a successful team in the Xfinity Series which currently has three drivers in contention for the 2024 Xfinity Series title.
