The Joey Logano Foundation teamed up with Huntersville Ford to give back to the Crossnore Community for Children, a non-profit childcare agency based in North Carolina. Notably, the gift was a brand new 2024 Ford Edge, a replacement for the company vehicle that was destroyed by Hurricane Helene.

Through a recent post on X, Joey Logano, the reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion, expressed his gratitude toward Ford Performance and Huntersville Ford for joining hands with the Joey Logano Foundation. He wrote,

“Last week, on a cold morning in Crossnore, NC, we made the trip to visit our friends at @CrossnoreComm to bring them a special gift. We couldn’t be more proud of their impact they’re making on so many young adults and The @JoeyLoganoFDN, with help from our good friends at Huntersville Ford, was able to give them a 2024 Ford Edge to replace on a company vehicle which was destroyed from Hurricane Helene.”

Furthermore, Ashley Furniture and Beds for Kids joined forces with the Joey Logano Foundation to give out over 20 free mattresses to children in need.

“Thank You to all that support the Joey Logano Foundation and Thank You @FordPerformance, @huntersville4d & Krause Auto Group, Ashley Furniture & Beds for Kids,” Logano added.

The Joey Logano Foundation aims to help children and young adults during times of medical, financial, or natural crisis. Founded in 2013, their main initiatives are the Joey Logano Kids Crew, Critical Assistance Relief Effort (C.A.R.E.) and Grant Funding.

Logano, the man behind everything, is currently with Team Penske driving the No. 22 Ford Mustang in the NASCAR Cup Series. He flaunts 36 series wins, including a victory in the 2015 Daytona 500. The 34-year-old Connecticut native also won the prestigious All-Star Race in 2016 and most recently in 2024.

Joey Logano leaks “teaser” for hilarious undercover mission at Huntersville Ford

Last Monday, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio invited Joey Logano for an interview where he disclosed the details of a secret undercover operation that he and his wife Brittany carried out at the request of Ford. What made things even funnier was that Logano and Brittany were disguised as third-generation chicken farmers from Arkansas.

“It's not out yet, but I'm gonna do a little teaser here for you," Logano told SiriusXM. "Ford asked me to go undercover and just with a disguise…my wife and I… to go to the Huntersville Ford and buy a car undercover and it was awesome. Here's the deal, guys, we're third-generation chicken farmers from Arkansas. We just moved to North Carolina and we needed a vehicle. And it's priceless.”

Logano then recalled scaring a salesman named Joe, making the latter think that he was going to get fired from his job. There must be a video of the entire operation, but even if there is, Logano is not allowed to share it just yet.

“I can't share with you yet because Ford will get really upset if I share it too soon, but it is hilarious,” Logano added.

It is possible that the car they purchased or were willing to purchase was the same Ford Edge that they gifted to the Crossnore Community for Children. But unless an official update comes out, nothing can be said for sure.
