Recently, Madyson Joye shared a heartwarming note for her grandfather, remembering him on his death anniversary. Joye is the wife of JTG Daugherty Racing driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
Madyson is a native of Ashville, Ohio. She reportedly met Stenhouse Jr. in 2020 and the couple later tied the knot on October 26, 2022, in Charleston, North Carolina. Madyson is a graduate of The Ohio State University. According to her LinkedIn, Joye worked as a manager in licensing and retail for Richard Childress Racing. She currently works as the communication manager for the Drivers Advisory Council.
In a series of posts on Instagram, Madyson remembered one of her "best friends" and wrote a heartfelt message.
"7/7 The day we lost my grandpa and one of my very best friends. We miss you, Grandpa George." Madyson wrote.
#47 Chevy driver's wife also posted a photo of herself with her late grandfather.
Moreover, Madyson also shared the importance of the 7/7 date (July 7) in her life and why she honors it. This was the date when her grandfather passed away in 2015, who was then 77 years old. She also claimed that 7 is one of her favorite numbers.
Meanwhile, the Stenhouse Jr. couple recently welcomed their baby boy before the Chicago Street Race weekend.

The No. 47 Chevy driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Madyson shared a post of their newborn son, Stetson Steele Stenhouse, on social media.
Ahead of the 20th scheduled race of the 2024 Cup Series season. JTG Daugherty Racing driver Stenhouse Jr. shared the news on July 4, welcoming the baby boy. The 36-year-old Stenhouse Jr. wrote:
"Welcome to the world, Stetson! ❤️"
#47 Stenhouse Jr. started kart racing when he was six years old. After showing immense talent, he moved into sprint car racing in 2003 and gradually, into NASCAR's national series. He made his full-time debut for RFK Racing in the Xfinity Series in 2010 and went on to win the 2011 and 2012 Xfinity Series championships.
The Tennessee native has accumulated three wins and 58 top-tens in his NASCAR Cup Series career. He now competes full-time for JTG Daugherty Racing, his last win came in the esteemed Daytona 500 race last year.
As NASCAR inches closer to the 2024 NASCAR playoffs, Stenhouse Jr. sits at P26 in the overall standings. He also has two top-five and four top-ten finishes after 19 starts in the regular Cup Series season.
