Ryan Blaney's fiancee Gianna Tulio has cherished his happening past week. From Blaney's visit at the TODAY office and the couple's presence at the ESPY Award Show to the Team Penske driver dethroning the winningest driver on the Pocono Raceway, Denny Hamlin, his recent week was arguably among the best and busiest so far.

After starting from eighth place and failing to run among the front-runners during both stages slimmed his odds of a promising outcome, the #12 Ford driver surged to the top.

With just 44 laps to go and the ensuing restart, Ryan Blaney took charge of the pack and dashed for his second victory on the Pocono Raceway, the 2.5-mile 'Tricky Triangle,' where the #12 driver clinched his maiden Cup Series win in 2017. Meanwhile, Denny Hamlin, who has the most wins at Pocono with seven, missed his eighth win by 1.312 seconds.

Before the 21st race weekend, the Ohio native and Gianna Tulio visited the ESPYs in Hollywood, LA. Blaney was nominated for the 'Driver of The Year' award and honored WNBA's Caitlin Clark. His week kicked off with the talk show at TODAY's office, wherein he touched upon several topics like Alzheimer's disease and his connection to it, safety upgrades in NASCAR over recent years, and empathized with "bipolar" and "split personality" drivers.

Taking to Instagram, Gianna shared a story with snippets of Ryan Blaney's three stints during the past week, quoting:

"I feel like the last two months we’ve been spectacular" - Ryan Blaney reflects on Team Penske's performance enhancement

Ryan Blaney started his ninth full-time Cup Series season with a mixed bag of performances. However, from the first 15 races until the World Wide Technology Raceway stint, the #12 Ford succumbed to three DNFs and a 24th-place finish at WWT Raceway. After falling victim to fuel exhaustion, Blaney lost on the final lap despite being the leader.

With zero wins in hand, his ticket to playoffs was in jeopardy. Nonetheless, after the Illinois 300 disappointment, Ryan Blaney secured his maiden win this season at the Iowa Speedway and, five races later, he tasted another triumph at Pocono.

During a post-race press conference, Blaney highlighted his team's recent spike in performance.

"I feel like the last two months we’ve been spectacular, felt like speed in our cars have been great. A couple of finishes might not reflect that but it's really none of our doing. Some, I mean, at Gateway, we had a great shot at winning, it just didn't work out, New Hampshire we thought we had a great run going, then got spun out. I feel really good about the speed in our car, Blaney said via NASCAR.

The past two months have witnessed two wins and three top-10s from the Team Penske driver and the defending champion has climbed to fifth in the championship race.
