Connor Zilisch has lambasted Nick Sanchez for wrecking him at Bristol Motor Speedway. Zilisch was the polesitter during the Truck Series race but Sanchez’s maneuver damaged the teenager's chances of a satisfactory result.

The UNOH 200 race was the second playoff battle, and Layne Riggs clinched his second consecutive Truck Series win. It marked Zilisch’s third Truck race since the last debacle at Richmond Raceway.

After taking the green flag as the leader, Zilisch dominated the field but lost track positions during the closing laps of Stage 1 and settled in fourth. The #7 Chevy driver ran among the top 5 when the second stage was about to wrap up, but Sanchez's wreck resulted in a 27th-place finish for the Spire Motorsports driver.

It became Connor Zilisch's second consecutive contact with a teammate. He was previously wrecked by Chase Purdy, at the Richmond Raceway. Zilisch wasn’t happy with the Rev Racing driver's move and made his frustration known at his teammate. Rev Racing and Spire Motorsports are in a technical alliance this season and thus, can be said as teammates.

Motorsports journalist Davey Segal shared Zilisch’s message on X (formerly Twitter). He wrote:

"F*ck me dude, he just loves wrecking me, huh? [...] what the f*ck dude? 2 races in a row and a teammate wrecks me. Come on," Zilisch said.

Zilisch finished 19th at Bristol with 41 laps led. His final Truck Series race of the season will be hosted at the Martinsville Speedway, on November 1.

Connor Zilisch “frustrated” after Chase Purdy's late-race contact at Richmond robbed him of a potential top-5

Connor Zilisch marked his second Truck race at Richmond. He was fresh from a polesitter run and fourth-place finish at his debut in COTA. However, Zilisch had a disappointing day at the qualifying event and started his Richmond race in 27th place.

He climbed a few track positions for a 20th-place finish in Stage 1 and 15th in the second stage. But on Lap 236, fourteen before the checkered flag dropped, Zilisch paid the price for his Spire teammate Chase Purdy's contact with Bret Holmes.

Zilisch was running 18th and "had a chance at a top-5," but Purdy's wreck cascaded into the former's #7 NASCAR Truck, sending it into the wall.

"Someone got into someone which ended up getting into me and ended our race, which is frustrating because I do feel like before that caution (Lap 226) we had a chance at a top-5 with how much speed we had. So, frustrating end to what was going to be a good day," Zilisch spoke about the disappointing turaround of events ivia Frontstretch on X (0:10).

The crash marked the first DNF for Connor Zilisch and he finished 29th at Richmond Raceway.
