She shared a post by NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Christian Eckes on her Instagram story with a playful caption.

After an impressive Craftsman season in 2021, Gilliland proposed to his now-wife Marrissa during their trip to the Bahamas. The couple tied the knot a year later in January 2022, at the same location. She is often seen on racetracks with her husband and gets along with his friends. Notably, Marrisa and Harrison Burton's soon-to-be wife, Jenna Petty, are frequently seen together.

Christian Eckes' post encapsulated his entire December, and Cup Series drivers Todd Gilliland and Harrison Burton joined him during the off-season break. Burton's fiancé Jenna Petty and Gilliland's wife also joined them on a crazy night out. They also took a go-kart out for a spin in the middle of the night. Reflecting upon the same, Gilliland, the FRM driver commented:

"2nd pic made me thirsty, and that Gokart wanted to start…"

Wood Brothers Racing driver Harrison Burton also joined Gilliland in the comments and wrote:

NASCAR Cup Series driver Todd Gilliland and his wife Marissa Gilliland went on a family trip to the historic Greenbrier resort in West Virginia. The couple took a trip to the luxury resort in the Allegheny Mountains of the Greenbrier Country in West Virginia during the holiday season.

The resort is spread over 11,000 acres, offering a stunning view of the Allegheny Mountains. Featuring 710 guest rooms, 20 dining options, lounges, 35 retail shops, and 55 indoor and outdoor activities, the resort provides a unique blend of luxury, history, and entertainment.

Built in 1913 by the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway, Greenbrier Resort has hosted 28 United States presidents. It also features underground Cold War-era bunkers designed to shelter the president securely during emergencies.

On the racing front, Todd Gilliland is steadily climbing up the ladder in his career. He joined Front Row Motorsports in 2020 and has been with the organization since. He ended his 2024 season in 22nd place on the points table, securing four top-ten finishes and marking his career-best finish.

The Cup Series driver has completed over 100 races in the series, achieving a significant milestone as a second-generation driver. He also inked a multi-year contract with Front Row Motorsports and became the team's first confirmed driver for the 2025 Cup Series season.
