Bubba Wallace's mentee Rajah Caruth dropped a Marvel Avengers' context in response to his team Spire Motorsports' social media post showcasing him racing during the 2024 NASCAR Truck Series Zip Buy Now, Pay Later 200 at Martinsville Speedway. This was a significant race for the 22-year-old as it could have given him a spot in the Championship 4.

Despite his consistent performances throughout the season, Caruth could not make it past the Round of 8. He seemingly suffered from some braking issues during the race that hampered his ability to corner better and he lost positions as a result. Ultimately, he finished the race in 31st place which put him out of contention for the championship.

Recently, Spire Motorsports shared a social media post, mentioning that this race has raised the team's hopes for next season, writing:

"The race that makes us hungrier than ever for 2025."

Reacting to this post, Rajah Caruth dropped a reference from the blockbuster film Avengers: Endgame.

"Whatever it takes," he wrote.

Rajah Caruth debuted in the Truck Series in 2022 backed by HendrickCars.com as his main sponsor. He will be looking to follow in the footsteps of his mentor Bubba Wallace and make it to the NASCAR Cup Series.

Bubba Wallace shared his experience mentoring Rajah Caruth

As mentioned, the 23XI Racing driver has helped guide Rajah Caruth during the early stages of his career. In an interview, he once revealed that he has been tough on the 22-year-old since his early days in racing. He once witnessed him racing in a Legends car at Charlotte and he was seemingly not confident enough to put the throttle down.

Wallace then told him that he should push more and not be afraid of hitting the wall.

"I’ve been hard on him since Day 1. I will never forget the first time watching him in a Legends car at Charlotte and I got in his face, ‘What are you so afraid of the wall for? You haven’t even hit,'" Bubba Wallace recalled via Chicago Tribune in March 2024.

Wallace then mentioned that he was proud to be a part of Rajah Caruth's racing journey.

"I feel proud to have played a small part in this," Bubba Wallace added. "And I called him, and he was pumped. But, like, his burnout was lame and his phone call was lame. I was like, 'Come on man, I’m more pumped than you are.’"

Wallace has been racing with 23XI Racing since the 2021 season. His performance wasn't as consistent this year as previous years, although he was hopeful he would qualify for the playoffs based on points. However, he failed to do so and finished the season in 18th place on points.
