When Bubba Wallace expressed his anger at Alex Bowman by throwing water on his face

Bubba Wallace splashed water on Alex Bowman's face after the duo clashed during the 2019 Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Wallace, who was seemingly angry, threw water on Bowman as the latter was being attended to by a medical officer after the race.

The Charlotte race four years ago saw Bowman take Wallace out of the race by hitting him from the back. The then #43 driver was in the lead, ahead of the Hendrick Motorsports driver.

Soon after the race, Bubba Wallace went to confront Alex Bowman and splashed water on him. The water also hit the medical personnel, Dr. Angela Fiege, a Fox Sports analyst and Hendrick Motorsports executive Jeff Gordon, who were sitting behind Bowman.

"He don’t like to race,” Wallace said to the media. "He just runs over everybody. He gets to Lap 1 and he runs over me and (Austin Dillon) into the back chicane. We’re back there in the trunk, man. Just take it easy for a lap."

"He had a fast car and he just run over us. Shoot us through the chicane and then we get a penalty for it. Every time he gets to me, he just runs over me. Smooth move of playing the sick card so I couldn’t bust him in his mouth.”

The wreck at the chicane in Lap 42 resulted in Wallace taking the rebound and finishing 24th, while Bowman went on to place second. After the wreck, the #88 driver shared on the radio that he was upset by Wallace's behavior during the race (he was continuously shown fingers).

Bubba Wallace door-slammed Alex Bowman at Chicago

Bubba Wallace was seemingly furious with Alex Bowman during the recent Chicago Street Race. During Stage 2 of The Grant Park 650, Bowman got into Wallace's #23 Camry and sent him spinning.

This caused significant damage to Wallace's car and ruined all his chances of a race win. While the #88 driver apologized for the on-track ordeal, the Toyota driver was unimpressed and had 'revenge' on his mind.

After the race was over, as Alex Bowman celebrated after winning, Bubba Wallace came from behind and door-slammed him. The Grant Park 650 winner, however, defended Wallace. As per Kelly Crandall's X post, Bowman said Bubba barely hit him and everything was fine and "it was deserved."
